The Division of Recreation Special Needs Sports Program will team up with Shoprite of Bayonne to learn about the importance of nutrition in sports. Participants will have the opportunity to tour Shoprite and learn about the importance of eating healthy.
Kayla Kirschner, RDN, a registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Shoprite, will be teaching the sessions and gi...ving the tours.
The Division of Recreation and Shoprite will also conduct sessions where participants will be making their own healthy snack. Whether it may be a salad or a smoothie, everyone will add the ingredients for their very own healthy delight.
Kayla Kirschner, RDN, a registered Dietitian with Shoprite, will be teaching the sessions and giving the tours.
Tours of Shoprite will take place on Saturday, November 26th and Saturday, December 10th, at 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
Nutrition classes and activities will take place on Wednesday, December 28th and Thursday, December 29th, at 4:30pm, at the Recreation Senior Center at 597 Broadway.
