Mayor Jimmy Davis has announced that the Recreation Division will team up once again this spring with the US SPORTS INSTITUTE for the “Parent & Me Soccer” Program, for AGES 2-3.
Parent & Me Soccer Squirts is a fun and positive introduction to soccer for young children with a helping hand from mom, dad or guardian! With a parent/guardian participating by their side, kids will have fun learning the fundamental skills of soccer through a program of structured activities, fun based games, and scrimmages.
Each session focuses on maximizing participation and learning through a variety of fun games designed to stimulate a child's imagination and develop motor skills. This is an excellent opportunity for you to spend quality time together while easing your child into social situations with support and confidence.
All sports are presented in a positive and relaxed environment with an emphasis on participation, interaction, and communication.
The Spring “Parent & Me” soccer program will run for 8 weeks, from Saturday, April 19th – June 9th, at 16th Street Park. There are 2 sessions available: 9:00am to 10:00am or 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
The cost of the Summer program is $125.00/participant. Save $10 per program, per child - Use code SS10SALE - Ends 2/28.
