ELROSA--Saints fireballer Payton VanBeck signed a contract with the St. Cloud Rox of the Northwoods League summer collegiate baseball league! PVB started on the mound Thursday July 6th vs. the Duluth Huskies in his debut performance. Van Beck threw 5 innings, giving up 9 hits, 3 earned runs, 0 walks, and 2 strikeouts. In total, VanBeck faced 25 batters in front of an announced crowd of 1,593 many of which traveled on a coach bus from Elrosa to support the hometown talent. Congrats Payton and good luck!
