ROOKIE JAMBOREE A BIG SUCCESS
The Rookie Division celebrated the end of their 2016
season with their traditional Jamboree Tournament at
Dierickx Field. All six teams played a Round Robin
format and finished with receiving their medals
before the skies opened up and rained on the
festivities. Fun was had by all and we look forward
to having the kids back next year! Have a great summer.
Tualatin Claims 15th Annual Bill Bender Memorial Tournament
The Tualatin Wolves defeated the Lincoln Red Devils in the Championship Game, 8-5, to claim the 15th Annual Bill Bender Memorial Midget American Tournament played at Dierickx Fields on June 4-5, 2016. Canby-Smith defeated Cleveland to capture 3rd and Clackamas defeated Oregon City to finish fourth. Thanks to all of the Parents, Volunteers and Board Members who helped make this tournament such a success.
Rainout Information To Be Posted On WebsiteRainout information will be posted in the ticker that runs across the top of your screen directly under the Gladstone Junior Baseball Logo. The information will be updated on a daily basis after 3:30 PM. The information will also be available by calling the City of Gladstone Recreation Department at 503-557-2769. This addition should help provide better notification to players and parents of cancellations due to weather and will hopefully eliminate numerous phone calls. |
A Huge Thank-You to all of you that came out to volunteer during our annual Can & Bottle Drive. Without the kids on the ground, the parents helping drive them around and sorting, the effort would not have been possible.
