·      Rookie Level - $50.00

*There is a $10 discount for each additional player within the same family.

TRYOUT INFORMATION:

·      Sunday, February 10th, 2019 - Tryouts for Senior, Junior and Midget Levels. There are no tryouts for Rookies.

·      Tryout Location - Gladstone High School (All-purpose field, gym and/or batting cages).

Each level will be required to attend only one of the two tryout sessions listed below on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Sessions will be on a first arrival basis, so when you check-in you will be assigned a number and placed in the appropriate time slot. You do not need to remain in line until your session after you check-in. For example, if you arrive at 9:00am for Minors but you are the 21st player to sign in, your time slot will not be until 10:15am.  Parents must remain at the school with their child prior to and while they are taking part in tryouts. For safety reason parents will not be allowed in the batting cage and/or gym areas.

         Minor Level (3rd & 4th Grade)

         Session #1 - 9:00am-10:00 am

         Session #2 - 10:15am-11:15 pm

Session #3 - 11:30am-12:30pm (this session will only be an option should we have more than 40 players)

         Junior Level (5th & 6th Grade)

         Session #1 - 1:15pm-2:15pm

         Session #2 - 2:15pm-3:15pm

         Senior Level (7th & 8th Grade)

         Session #1 - 3:15pm-4:15pm

         Session #2 - 4:15pm-5:15pm

All players are strongly encouraged to participate in tryouts to establish their skill and proficiency level. Tryouts are intended to allow placement of players on teams with players of similar ability. In addition to the coaches and board members evaluating players, there will also be independent evaluators at each session. A player is required to participate in tryouts to be considered for the American or Federal team in their division.

More proficient and skilled players at all age levels are encouraged to try out for the Federal team in their division.  Players being considered for play at the Federal level may be asked to return for further evaluation. Rookie age players in 2nd grade who wish to be considered to play at the Minor level need to participate in tryout evaluation.

Skill levels as specified by Junior Baseball Association of Oregon are as follows:
·  National Level:      Designated for less experienced or skilled players
·  American Level:    Designated for competitive, intermediate experienced or skilled players
·  Federal Level:        Designated for the most proficient and competitive players
