A magnificent effort by Jake Jarvis carried the Klein Collins Tigers Varsity to a 12-1 win in five innings over Cedar Ridge on Saturday at Weimar.

Jake blasted two home runs for the Klein Collins Tigers Varsity. Jake went 3-3 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Jake homered in the first and fifth innings.

The biggest inning for the Klein Collins Tigers Varsity was the fifth. The Klein Collins Tigers Varsity's bats caught fire leading to seven runs. The Klein Collins Tigers Varsity scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Ricky Urbano, a two-run single by Peyton Yost, an RBI double by Jason Helms, and a three-run home run by Jake.

Cedar Ridge couldn't get anything going so long as Chris Suarez was on the hill. Cedar Ridge managed just two hits off of Suarez, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his five innings of work.

Justin Haros ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
