RBI’s Stanbery All-Conference Selection

Maryland RBI player Dominic Stanbery has received All-Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC) honorable mention for the 2016 high school season.

Playing for the MPSSA Class 3A Northern HS baseball team, the Anne Arundel Community College signee led the Patriots pitching corps.  He went 32.1 innings for a 4-2 record with 31 K's and 3.03 ERA.

“Dom is not only a very good athlete in general, but a player that works hard at getting better,” said Maryland RBI manager/coach Mike Graham. “He has a great attitude and loves the game, which is very obvious to anyone who's seen him on the bump or at shortstop/2B or in the outfield. He also takes instruction and uses it to improve himself, whether it’s offensively, defensively, or on the mound. I've watched him grow up tremendously since middle school into a mature, veteran player who plays beyond his years. I'm excited to see how the next four years in college baseball and beyond unfold for him."
