NRRC Members,

November is election month, not only for our government, but for North Roanoke Rec Club as well.

I wanted to take this opportunity to let our entire membership know that if you would like to get involved in helping to improve our organization and the programs we offer, now is the time.  Every board position, from President to Facilities Director (as listed on our website) is open for competition.  Whether you are dissatisfied with the board's performance, believe you have ideas on how to improve our organization or just have the desire to get involved in the community, we welcome your input.

NRRC's mission statement of  being "dedicated to giving youth athletes the opportunity to develop their skills and to utilize sports as a vehicle for developing self esteem, discipline and confidence, while exhibiting good sportsmanship" should always be our main focus.  If you have positive energy and the desire to make a difference, I encourage you to get involved!
