Practice Cancellations 

Outdoor Practice Cancellations
Due to the frequencey of hit or miss showers and the large size of Roanoke County, the Athletics Division will only cancel practices in the event weather has deemed fields unplayable or unsafe. Please call the cancellation line of the jurisdiction in which your practice is being held to determine if weather conditions warrant such a cancellation. Decisions to cancel practices due to rain are done by each head coach. Please contact your coach for this information.

Indoor Practice Cancellations
It is the policy of Roanoke County to cancel youth sports activities when Roanoke County Public Schools shut down early or are closed due to inclement weather. Please call the cancellation line of the jurisdiction in which your practice is being held to determine if weather conditions warrant such a cancellation.
