OXCITY PHOENIX rally behind Emma FRONT's 24 points to defeat Team Jet in a great clash.

After a fantastic 16-6 first quarter lead Phoenix felt comfortable and brought their guard down as Team Jet began to prepare a comeback.  After the break Jet went on a 16-10 rampage which left the visitors 3 points behind Phoenix and ready for a great finale.

In the 4th Quarter Phoenix drew first blood by going 9-0 in the first 4 minutes taking a substantial 44-32 lead.  Then Team Jet intensified their defensive efforts outscoring Phoenix 12-2 and finding themselves only 2 points behind with 1 minute left in regulation.  Phoenix' Surangi extended the lead to 4 points by scoring from the charity stripe, then high scorer Emma Frost added the last nail in the coffin by scoring 2 more from the line to take the W 50-44.

Next Wednesday at 8pm - Oxford City Indoor Arena PHOENIX will be welcoming Team Jet again for the Cup Semi-Final.
