From February 14 to 21, Baseball Canada held their annual ID camp in Cuba. Girls from all over Canada, including 4 from Newfoundland, participated in training and tournaments with local Cuban teams. They had the experience of a lifetime under the direction of Andre Lachance, Head Coach of the Senior Women's National Team. While in Cuba, Baseball Canada took the opportunity to produce a documentary on women's baseball in Canada. St. John's Minor Baseball is very proud to have had 3 players representing our association at this event. They were Jaclyn Morgan, Hannah Cake and Danielle Tysson-Smith. These girls were also members of the 2014 NL 16U Girls Team.
