"The order form for shirts is live. We've posted info and links to them on our Facebook page, theprogressreview.co and shoplpcink.co. We will also run a story in next week's paper. We will also forward all of the details to the Vinton newspapers. Here's what we posted on Facebook this morning:

On Friday, September 2, the Union Knights football team will host Vinton-Shellsburg. In keeping with the team's annual tradition of "Patriot Night," which honors those who serve their country and their communities, a special "Back the Blue" t-shirt will be offered for sale. What makes these shirts unique is that the proceeds from sales of "Back the Blue" will go to the public safety departments in four area communities: La Porte City, Dysart, Vinton and Shellsburg. Even better, YOU pick which community receives this special donation when you order your shirt.

Gregg's Sporting Goods and The Progress Review are proud to partner with the Union High School football team in this special show of support for the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe.
