Crimson Knights Alumni making noise on TV. We are not sure how long this link will be available on this website, but try to see if it is still there. As some of you may know, on the YES Network (cable TV channell) there is a TV show called "Running". Two Crimson Knights rec'vd impressive air time. Brian Guterl (although the announcer says "Guteri" and we know they are wrong) came in 3rd in the IC4A Div. 1 College Championship. Elizabeth Campbell came in 1st in the ECAC Div. 1 University Championship. This show aired about 20 times in December.

About the Crimson Knights
Fifteen plus years ago, several parents of students at St. James School in Woodbridge - New Jersey, established the Fall Cross Country Program within the Athletic Department and with much needed help from the St. James Knights of Columbus. This program is unique in that the team is also supported by many different organizations in Woodbridge. Based in Woodbridge, the Crimson Knights are a Youth Cross Country team comprised of students (grades 1 through 8) from the Greater Middlesex County area, including southern Union County. The team's regular season is comprised of youth races sponsored by other running organizations in New Jersey under the rules & regulations of USA Track & Field. This program also participates in a nationwide running competition that culminates each year at the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships. These championship races have been held in places such as South Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, Georgia, Illinois, Washington, Kansas, and now Virginia for the 2008 season. The program's season starts when the school year begins.
The progam has a unique history and is an excellent opportunity for students to learn the needed dedication regarding training and competition in sports. Ask the Coaches about our history that includes a few NJ State High School Group Champions, All State, All County, All Area Runners, HS League, HS Conference and HS Division Champions. Quite a few record holders and more ! Yes, also several NCAA Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 honored runners. After being involved in this sport for so long, we were bound to have some success !
