Horizon Kickball
COME OUT AND PLAY WITH ACWORTH PARKS AND RECREATION!
Registration has begun for the Horizon Kickball League.Starting June 11th-July 25th children and adults ages 5 years old and older with developmental and physical disabilities. All games will be played on the Horizon Field located at 4000 S. Main St.
Games will be held on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm for 5-12 year olds and Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm for ages 13 and up. Games will not be held the week of July 4th.
Registration Deadline is June 1st. Registering late does not guarantee you your requested jersey size or the team you have played for in the past. Registration cost is $15.00. Pro Wakeboard Tour
The Pro Wakeboard Tour and the City of Acworth are inviting all Horizon athletes out for a special viewing of the Pro Wakeboard Tour on Friday, May 17, 5:00 p.m. at Cauble Participants will have an opportunity to watch riders compete on the water, meet some of the top wake boarders in the world, and obtain autographs. Join us for boat rides; give aways and an autograph session.

The bulk of the clinic focuses on soccer building activities

The Acworth Parks and Recreation Department is now selling car magnets to help promote the Horizon Baseball League! Magnets are $5.00 each and will feature the Horizon League Logo that you see pictured below. All proceeds go to the Horizon League. Visit www.acworthparksandrecreation.org for your magnet. The Superior Plumbing Club is Turner Field's newest venue! Located on the Club Level between home plate and 3rd base, the Superior Plumbing Club offers an intimate setting to watch the baseball game. All the tables in the club have a small flat screen TV for up close viewing of the game and replays. Superior Plumbing is offering a table that will seat a lucky special needs student and 1 parent for each game. Each ticket comes with a $30.00 food credit.
Anyone can nominate a student for consideration by going to www.SuperiorPlumbing.com/vote. There is also an opportunity to vote for the student of your choice on our website and elevate that student to the "Winners Circle.” Nominees are offered the option on our website to share their nomination by email, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest to garner more votes for their nominated student. Voting is limited to once a day and must be done at

If classes are cancelled due to weather, the class will be made up at a later date.
