The Massapequa Coast Little League will be conducting a last registration for Fall Ball Baseball Registration. Last Fall saw Record Numbers with 765 Players in our Fall Baseball program. The season will start following Labor Day Weekend on Saturday Sept 7th and will run thru October 29th. It will be a 12-14 game fall season, with a game during the week and a game on the weekend. There will be no games scheduled for 

Columbus Day Weekend (Oct 12-14).

 

ONLY PLAYERS FROM MASSAPEQUA COAST OR MASSAPEQUA INTERNATIONAL BOUNDARIES ARE ELIGIBLE

 

Registration will take place on Thursday July 18th: 7:30PM - 9:00PM at Burns Park Meeeting Room(AKA Boat House). Payment can me made by Check or Cash ONLY. For NEW Registrants, parents Must present for review a Birth Certificate and Residency Verification.

 

Divisional Placement is based upon the age a child will be prior to Sept 1, 2024...

 

For the Fall, our age couplings per division due to lower registration numbers varies from the spring. Please find your childs age below and register accordingly...

 

Fees are 110.00 per player for Squirts, T-Ball and Coach Pitch and 140.00 per player for AA, AAA, Majors and Intermediate...

 

Squirts...League Age 4 year olds..MUST BE 4 PRIOR TO SEPT 1, 2024......Basically if your kid played in the Squirts in the spring, he/she will be with that same exact age grouping

 

T-Ball.....League age 5 or 6 year olds..League age 5's can opt for Sandlot but MUST specify on form Coach Pitch..If you are moving your league age 5 year old up to Sandlot, please make sure he/she is ready to hit a pitched baseball..Otherwise, don't rush it..Wait until they are league age 6 in the spring and have developed more......

 

Coach Pitch..League age 5/6/7 year olds...For 2024 League age 7 year olds, you can opt to play AA, But AA is far more advanced and if your child has a tough time hitting, Coach Pitch is Strongly Recommended for the Fall.....It will NOT Hamper them to play Coach Pitch in the Fall, if as a League age 8 year old in 2024 if you plan on AA. 7 months older in the spring is a big difference at this age.

 

AA...........League age 7 and 8 year olds..Player Pitch...ONLY Recommended for advanced league age 7 year olds..

 

AAA........League Age 9 and League Age 10 Year olds.....In the spring it is league 10 and 11 year olds. League age 9 year olds can play AA if you are concerned with the tougher/older competition in AAA. Put on Form 'Remain AA' 

 

PS...For League age 8 and League Age 9 year olds that have been selected to our 8 Year Old Tournament Team or 9A or 9B Tournament Teams, if you plan on playing Travel ball with the Cyclones in the Fall, these players will be required to play Massapequa Coast Fall Intramural.....

 

Majors....2024 League age 10 year olds or League age 11 year olds....10 Year Olds who might find Majors to challenging, put on form 'Remain AAA'. PS..Fall Ball Majors is far less competitive than spring Majors....

 

Intermediate....2024 League age 12/13 year olds...For 11's..

 

PS...While our summer tournament players for our 10, 11 and 12 year old teams are not required to play fall intramural if playing fall Cyclones, we highly recommend it, playing both a travel schedule(if not to demanding) and the fall intramural schedule...For those that do both Intramural and Cyclones, there are minimal conflicts. Fall travel for Cyclones is weekend games and generally players doing both, are bale to make all weeknight games and most weekend games....PS..Unlike the Spring, in the Fall, if a player has a Cyclones game at these age levels and an intramural game at the same time, they are allowed to go to the Cyclones game and the Cyclones game Trumps the Intramural game conflict in the Fall...

 

If you can Volunteer to be a Team Manager or a Team Coach. Team Manager runs the team and coaches the team. We will be in dire need of Team Managers for the Fall.
