Welcome to the home of the

Stratford Athletic Organization

We have had to make a couple adjustments to our Fun Workout Schedule.
Changes are in highlighted/red.  See you at workouts!

Do you own a business that could help support kids your local community?  Or, do you know someone who owns a business that would like to support SAO and help your child play ball for FREE?  Please check out our various sponsorship levels see the attached & help support SAO, your community & your kids!

I would like to remind everyone of acceptable behavior at SAO sporting events.  Cheering and expressing emotion is part of the excitement of the game, and sometimes things even get a little tense. However, there is a line that we will not tolerate to be crossed at our events.  When the game is over, it is over.  There is zero tolerance for harassment of the officials, coaches or players during or after the game.  Foul language at games is not permitted.

Our goal is to provide POSITIVE support, care and encouragement for the children of SAO while teaching them not only the sport, but sportsmanship, which is a lesson that will hopefully follow them throughout their life, long after they are done playing ball.  As a reminder, the following behavior has been agreed to by all parents & coaches when you signed our Parents Code of Conduct:

  • I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials and will not make comments with the intent to hurt, intimidate or humiliate any player, coach, official, spectator or the organization at any game, practice or other youth sports event, or on social media.
  • I will support coaches and officials working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
  • I will help my child enjoy the youth sports experience by doing whatever I can, such as being a respectful fan.
  • Any misbehavior, vandalism or disregard for authority will not be tolerated.

Any coach, parent or onlooker who can not follow these conduct rules will be asked to leave the game.  Anyone at an SAO event that harasses an official, coach or player during the game OR after the game will be removed from the game and will not be allowed to attend subsequent games pending a board review.  Let’s keep the game fun for the kids!

Thank you,

Maria Bliem
