WELCOME TO THE
2019-2020 WRESTLING SEASON!
 
Attention students in grades K - 4 from Barron
and the surrounding areas are welcome to come
and learn the basic fundamentals of
folk style wrestling in a FUN atmosphere. 
 
The Barron Area Youth Wrestling Association will hold a mandatory parent meeting and the first practice on Dec. 2nd at 5:30. Wrestlers bring your gear! Singlets will be available to order this night.
 
Wrestling Season:
Monday and Wednesdays from Dec 2nd to Feb 5th
Practice will occur from 5:30-6:45 pm
Parent Mandatory Meeting Dec. 2nd at 5:30!
Wrestlers bring your gear!
 
No practice 12/ 16, 12/23 -12/31, nor when school is not in session
nor closed due to inclement weather.
 
All Registrations placed online.
Payment accepted online or mailed in.
A T-shirt is included with each registration.

  • Season practice dates will be Mondays and Wednesdays at the Barron High School.
  • Cost for the season will be $30 per wrestler or $50 for multiple wrestlers from the same family.
  • T-shirt included with registration for each wrestler.
  • Singlets and logo wear available to order by Dec 1st!
  • Other clothing items may be available for purchase online. Watch for more information.

Practices will be @ Barron High School from (5:30 pm - 6:45pm)

Monday and Wednesdays starting Dec 2 to Feb 5.

Note: If school closes due to weather, practice will be cancelled. No practice 12/23-12/31.

YOUTH NIGHT on January 14th @ BHS

Team Peltier vs.Team Stephens:  Wrestlers will be paired up to wrestle each other in an exhibition match on the big mat, before the High School Varsity match vs. Spooner.  Stay after for your wrestler to be recognized and cheer on the Barron Bears wrestling team!

YOUTH NIGHT on December 5th @ BHS

 

Barron vs.Cumberland Dual:  Wrestlers will be paired up to wrestle each other in an exhibition match on the big mat, before the High School Varsity match vs. Cumberland.  Stay after for your wrestler to be recognized and cheer on the Barron Bears wrestling team! It will be a battle for the traveling trophy!

 

TOURNAMENTS: (Tentative, subject to change)

Note:  Parents are responsible for transportation to and from tournaments and practices.
