The Trojans' post-season came to an end on Monday afternoon by way of a walk-off HR. Read about it below:

Trojans Back in Post Season
After a two-year hiatus, the Trojans Varsity squad is back in the post-season! They will travel to J.P. McCaskey HS on Monday (5/21) to play #8 seed J.P. McCaskey. Game time is set for 430pm.

Trojans Drop Spring Grove, Add Shippensburg
Today's game with Spring Grove has been cancelled, but the Trojans picked up Shippensburg for tomorrow, weather permitting.
Trojans Sweep DH
The Trojans Varsity squad swept a DH yesterday against divisional foe, Mifflin County. The 2 wins moved the Trojans into #9 in D3. They will make the playoffs for the first time under Head Coach Scott Folmar.

Varsity Starts Another Streak
After an early week win against Franklin Co. rival, Greencastle, on Monday, the Trojans beat divisional foe & D3 #2 seed Cumberland Valley on Tuesday.
This win puts them squarely in the hunt for a playoff spot in 6A.
Chambersburg 4, Cumberland Valley 2: Kaden Hoover drove in two runs on two hits and the 1-2 pitching combination of Spencer Seaman and Elijah Snyder stood tall against the Eagles. Seaman worked six innings, scattering six hits against a single walk, and Snyder mopped up. The Trojans got all four runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Varsity's Win Streak Ends
The CC Colts ended the Trojans win streak at 3. Read about it below.
Cedar Cliff 18, Chambersburg 5: After the Colts rallied to erase a 5-run deficit in the top of the third, Bobby Whalen (3-for-4), Justin Resto (three runs) and Chris Dare (four RBIs) helped Cedar Cliff plant the Trojans with an 8-run fourth. Austin Bradbury (2-for-3) and Trey Law (3-for-4) combined for five runs scored and Denny Snyder survived nine hits for the win. Aaden Newman (2-for-2) led the Trojans.
Varsity Sweeps SC for the Season
The Trojan Varsity squad continues to play solid baseball. They swept the Little Lions of State College yesterday. Read about it below.
Chambersburg 7, State College 5: The Trojans were outhit 12-8 but made every swing count. Brady Hughes (2-for-2), Lue Wetzel (2-for-4) and Austin Kopp combined for three RBIs and four runs scored. The trio helped sever a 4-all game in the fourth. Kevin Karstetter’s three hits, and Matt Tomczuk’s three RBIs, led State College. Only four of Chambersburg’s seven runs were earned.

Varsity Ends Skid in Big Way
The Trojans Varsity squad finally put it all together - hitting, pitching and defense - against a divisional foe on Tuesday. They smoked the Rams of Central Dauphin, 10-1
Chambersburg 10, Central Dauphin 1: Austin Kopp’s three hits and three RBIs helped Chambersburg put the Rams away with a seven-run burst in the top of the seventh. Max Armstrong (2-for-4), Spencer Hockensmith (2-for-3) and Andrew Wurtz (2-for-3) all weighed in for the Trojans’ offense. Skylar McLean went 5 2/3 innings for the win, striking out six against three hits allowed. Chris Smith drove in CD’s only run in the third.
Varsity Subdued by CV
Varsity's hitting woes continue against CV. Here's a blurb about the the game from PennLive.
Cumberland Valley 6, Chambersburg 0: Justin Williams went 2-for-3 and Galen Witmer drove in a pair of runs to fuel the Eagles. Ryan Rudrow also played a leading role, striking out nine in a complete game. Rudrow was efficient over 86 pitches, allowed three hits, all singles, and walking none. David Mangold and Ben Myers also drove in single runs.
Varsity Loses Lead, Then Game to CC
Not a great ending for the Trojans. Leading into the 5th, the Trojans were unable to secure the win against division foe, CC.

Cedar Cliff 8, Chambersburg 1: Jimmy Losh chased home four runs and Austin Bradbury styled a one-hitter for the Colts. Bobby Whalen and Losh each went 2-for-4 while Bradbury sat down 10 and only walked two.
Trojans Win 2nd Game in Snowy/Rainy Conditions
The Varsity squad won a baseball game in football-like weather yesterday against the Thundering Herd of Carlisle, 17-12.
They have division rival Cedar Cliff on the slate for today. The weather looks to be more cooperative.
Trojans Get Handled by Red Land
The 2nd game of the new season didn't fare as well as the first for the Trojans. Below is a blurb from the Patriot News on the game.
Red Land 17, Chambersburg 2: Cole Wagner got the pitching win with four strikeouts over three innings of work. Wagner also went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. Jared Payne (3-for-4, home run, four RBIs), Kyle Hannon (2-for-2, two doubles), Hunter Merritt (2-for-3, two doubles, three RBIs), Ryan Rohrer (2-for-2, double, one RBI) and Mason Walker (2-for-3, double, three RBIs) added big outings for Red Land.

GA Games Postponed - Again
Today's games with GA have been postponed again. Practice times are 3-6pm, with Varsity going first, in the gym.
Carlisle Games Postponed
When will it ever stop?!?!!?
Today's games with Carlisle have been postponed until 4/9. Practice will be indoors from 3-6pm today, with the Varsity going first.
GA Games Postponed
Today's games with GA have been postponed until Wednesday (4/4). There will be no practice today for baseball.
CD Games Postponed
The weather is simply not cooperating.
Today's games with CD have been postponed. Both teams will practice @ 1pm in the AUX gym.
Waynesboro Games Postponed - Again
Once again, the weather is wrecking havoc on the early season. Today's games with Waynesboro has been postponed. A make up date is TBD.
Both teams will practice indoors @ 6pm.
Red Land Games Postponed
The weather does it again (and probably the rest of the week)!
Today's games with Red Land have been postponed to 4/6. Both teams will practice indoors @ 6pm.
Waynesboro Games Postponed
Today's games with Waynesboro have been postponed until Wednesday (3/28). Both teams will practice after school at the fields.

Parent Meeting
There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, March 12th @ 7pm in the HS cafeteria. Please plan to attend (players are not expected).
2018 Season Has Begun
The try-outs are complete and the 2018 Trojans Baseball teams have been chosen. The first practice will be today @ the HS, in the AUX gym. Varsity will start @ 3pm, JVs @ 430pm.
