FIRST DAY OF TACKLE FOOTBALL PRACTICE

 

Tackle Football practices begin Monday, July 23th at 6:30pm,at Citrus Park located at 1250 Santana Way, Corona, 92881. We encourage you to arrive early. Players need to wear their t-shirt they received at equipment hand out, shorts/sweats, cleats (rubber molded, no screw-in, no metal) and helmet with mouth guard. Please put name on front and back of helmet with white tape.

 

If you did not come to Paperwork Turn-in and Equipment Handout on Saturday, July 14th or you still need to turn in a Medical Release form and pay Registration fee, you will need to arrive at 5:00pm on Monday, July 23th to turn-in paperwork, pay any outstanding balance and pick up equipment. You will need to go to the Canopy to turn in paperwork before going to Equipment shed.

 

BOARD MEMBERS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 5:00pm - 7:00pm THE FIRST WEEK OF PRACTICE to receive Medical Release for, payment of registration fees and to issue equipment

 

PLAYERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE UNTIL MEDICAL RELEASE FORM IS TURNED IN AND BALANCE PAID IN FULL.

What you will be turning in: 

Original Medical Release form-Date the Physical was performed MUST be AFTER March 23, 2018, NO white out on Medical Release form, NO scratch outs on Medical Release form, Medical Release form must have doctor’s signature, date and stamp. All players must have clearance from Doctor to play football. Click HERE if you need a blank Medical Release form. MUST be original Medical Release form that Doctor signed. Original Medical Release form MUST be turned in, NO COPIES OR FAX COPIES.

Pay outstanding balance-Registration fee MUST be paid in full before a player will be allowed to practice.

Original Birth Certificate-NO copies can be accepted. If you will need your son/daughter’s birth certificate before mid-August, you may turn it in at a later date.  PLEASE NOTE: If you have turned in your player's Medical Release Form and paid their registration fee you DO NOT need to stand in line to turn in your player's Birth Certificate. The Birth Certificate can be turned in at a later date.

Must have a Credit Card-Credit Card must not expire before December 30, 2018. Parents will be held financially responsible for all equipment issued to their children. It is mandatory for the parent/guardian to provide current credit card information prior to issuance of equipment.

2018 WEIGHT LIMITS FOR TACKLE FOOTBALL
 
Age cut-off is July 31, 2018
 

 Jr. Micro – Age 7    Max Weight 100 lbs.

Jr. Micro – Age 8    Max Weight 90 lbs.

Micro – Ages 8 & 9    Max Weight 110 lbs.

Micro – Age 10    Max Weight 95 lbs.

Jr. PeeWee – Ages 9, 10 & 11    Max Weight 130 lbs.

Jr. PeeWee – Age 12    Max Weight 115 lbs.

PeeWee – Ages 10, 11 & 12    Max Weight 150 lbs.

PeeWee – Age 13    Max Weight 135 lbs.

Midget – Ages 11, 12 & 13    Unlimited Weight

Midget – Age 14    Unlimited Weight

 

Players will be placed on division team according to the weights and ages Eligibility Chart. Any player weighing 5% or more over the maximum weight for a Division at time of official physical examination will be assigned to the next higher Division, if age allows.

 

Please note: When placing a player in a Division, per conference rules, we must go by the weight on the player's medical release form turned in on July 14, 2018.

 

Each player must make weight for division/age by the first Conference Weight Certification date.  Any player that is overweight will be noted on the team’s Red Line Roster and shall have until the second Conference Weight Certification date to make that weight.  If the player fails to make weight by the Second Conference Certification date, that player will be lined off the team’s Red Line Roster and will not be able to play.

Space is limited in each Division. We will not be adding teams this year. So register early so you don't miss out!


Football players should be at registration, if possible.

Only a parent or legal guardian may sign up a football player/cheerleader. 

IMPORTANT DATE: Tackle Football Paperwork turn-in and Equipment Issued- July 14, 2018 at Citrus Park. It is MANDATORY that each player attend with a parent/guardian.
