NEWS: The Fayetteville Buccaneers will be joining the All American Football Conference of the North Carolina Amateur Athletic Union (NCAAU) in 2017. Our age divisions and cut-off dates will change to 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. In addition there will be No weight limits to play or advance the ball. Stand-by for more information as we update our websites. See upcoming events below for our scheduled try-out date (if you cannot make our try-outs please call or email and we will arrange for your child to try-out at a later date. 

 ABOUT US 
We consider ourselves to be the premier youth football organization in Fayetteville and Cumberland County, NC. The Fayetteville Buccaneers are a tryout traveling tackle youth football organization. Our coaching staff is required to be USA Football and "Heads UP Tackling" certified. In the previous six years we were a member of one of the most competitive youth football leagues in NC, the Piedmont Youth Football League (PYFL), which was based out of Charlotte, NC.  

**Our Buccaneers made PYFL history on two fronts:

1. We were the FIRST association to ever get all three of our teams into the play-offs in their first season.
2. In 2011 were the ONLY association to have EVER gotten all three of our teams to the Super Bowl in the 14 year existence of the PYFL. And in 2015, we did it again!!

**In 2016 (our first year in the NCAAU), we were the only organization in the state to get all 4 of our teams into the playoffs. In addition, all four teams advanced to the second round and two of those four teams advanced to the State Championship game.

OUR MISSION 
The mission of the Fayetteville Buccaneer Youth Football Organization is to develop our players by utilizing the teach, coach and mentor approach to football. We will develop their football skills through good coaching and highly competitive football games against teams from around the state. We will develop their character by teaching them the value of hard-work, discipline and teamwork. Our goal is to have a positive impact on the children and help improve their football skills on the field as well as their performance off the field in the classroom and at home. 

GAMES 
We will play a seven or eight game regular season with four of those games being played here in Fayetteville
and the other four games will be played between Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Sanford, and Charlotte. We will also have an opportunity to play in football tournaments against teams from all over the country. 

AGES (NO WEIGHT LIMITS) 

6U - Ages 5 to 6 years old

8U​​​ - Ages 7 to 8 years old

10U​ - Ages 9 and 10 years old 

12U​ - Ages 11 and 12 years old

14U​ - Ages 13 and 14 years old (9th graders can play, however, they cannot be a participant on ANY High School Football team).

*Players age is determined by their age as of  August 1st of that playing year/season (ex: A player that turns 13 years old on August 2nd 2016 is considered to be 12 years old for the 2016 season). 
 
PRACTICE 

Practices are generally 6 - 8 pm.
