Boys: Helmet, lacrosse stick, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, colored mouth guard, and protective cup. Cleats are recommended
Girls: Protective eyewear, colored mouthguard and lacrosse stick. Cleats are recommended.

2017 GRALA FEE, DISCOUNTS AND STIPEND POLICY
Coach’s Discount - oldest child’s participation fee reimbursed (Youth) at the end of the season, additional children fees at 70% (Youth)
Board Member’s Discount - after board member serves 1 year in good standing (attending over 50% of meetings) - the oldest youth child’s participation fee is reimbursed, additional children’s fees at 70%
Family Discount - (parents not coaching or on board) - pay full participants fee registration cost on two oldest youth children, than 50% of registration cost for remaining youth in the program.
Great Helper Discount - At the board’s discretion, a parent’s youth player participation fee may be reduced based on the amount of assistance they provide to the board and/or program. This reduction will be a maximum of that given to board members serving in good standing starting in their second year of service (see above Board Member’s Discount)
Coach stipends will be paid out at the end of the year if the coach has fulfilled their commitment from beginning to the end of the season, reimbursement of player participation fee will also be at the end of the season
Coach stipends are intended to reimburse the coach for expenses incurred to meet Coaching Requirements of GRALA (US Lacrosse Membership, Background Check, the balance of the stipend is theirs to keep)
Stipend values vary based on age of player’s coached - REIMBURSED FEES ARE PLAYER PARTICIPATION FEES ONLY
GIRLS 10U Head and Assistant $100.00 plus player fee reimbursed at end of season
GIRLS 12U Head coach $500.00, Assistant coach $250.00, plus player fee reimbursed at end of season
BOYS U8 Practice 2X Week: Head and Assistant coaches $100.00, plus player fee reimbursed at end of the season
BOYS U10 Practice 3X Week: Head and Assistant $150.00 plus player fee reimbursed at end of season
BOYS U12 Practice 4-5X Week: Head coach $500.00 and Assistant coach $250.00, plus player fee reimbursed at the end of the season
BOYS U14 Practice 4-5X Week: Head coach $500.00 and Assistant coach $250.00, plus player fee reimbursed at the end of the season
Additional training sought by coaches that requires payment will have to be brought to the board before signing up and the board will consider reimbursement based on the amount remaining in the training budget.
Gasoline costs only for meetings attended in the metro or possibly in Duluth by either coaches or board members will be reimbursed upon submittal of receipts. Examples would be scheduling games or rules meetings. There will be NO mileage reimbursement or gas reimbursement of food per diem for games or practices.
