WEATHER SCHEDULE UPDATES AS OF 9:45 a.m. on Friday, April 4:

Due to a forecast of almost an inch of rain today, the April 5 tourney is being moved to the rain date of Sunday, April 6. Teams must email or call (DO NOT TEXT! WE DON'T TEXT!) and indicate if you are still taking part. The times may change, so keep checking this web site for updates!
Mudville's scrimmages on 3/22 and 3/31 have been cancelled. The scrimmage teams now have extra dates they can make things up, if they are available. So far we have South Jefferson, General Brown, Adirondack bringing their varsity teams on April 12 for an 11:00 a.m. scrimmage. We can accommodate four more teams at that time and eight teams from 2:30-5:30 that date. We also have some room on April 14 at 10:00 a.m. as Cohoes and Holland Patent have signed up, late on April 15, and all day on April 16 and 17. If just your varsity was scheduled but cannot come we can substitute your JV, or the JV can try and squeeze into a tourney later in the year. Just let us know what dates work.
The 4/3 tourney hosted by Poland saw the fields ready but bench and spectatior areas were very muddy, as were parking areas. We are doing the best we can, considering all the rain and snow from the winter.

Coaches are asked to email Mudville at nysscogs@yahoo.com with other dates they could return to Mudville for a scrimmage.

Coaches should email Mudville/Perry L. Novak asap if they are willing to pay to have umpires for their scrimmages.

Note - The Utica umpire group recenly changed its policy from getting half fee for all scrimmages to full fee for scrimmages April 1 and later, or fee and a half if an umpire works alone.

March 22/29 scrimmage cancelled:

1: Columbia-2AA (Coach Chris Ciccone)

2: Windsor-4B (Coach Bill Waldron)

3: New Hartford-3A (Coach John Cunningham)

Mudville''s fields are at 3350 Rt. 28, Herkimer. Take NY Route 28 north from the Thruway toll booth for exactly 3.5 miles. Follow the signs for NY 28 closely as the road zigzags a lot through the village then out into the country. Fields are on the east side of the road. Fans should bring their own lawn chairs to Mudville.
