I am sorry to inform you all that Towson Day is cancelled. With the weather forecast of 56 degrees and rain, I'd rather not take the chance of having a miserable day. If you have planned on working on your banners tonight, please do so and display them PROUDLY in your teams dugout. If you have purchased items for tomorrow, hold onto them, we will use it at the end of the year party.
To our teams in the Minors, Nationals, Americans and Stars: Games start this week!!! Take the field, have FUN and play hard!!!
To our Ponytails: Your games will start in 2 weeks!! Practice hard and learn a lot. The fans will be going crazy in 14 short days.
To our Pigtails: Keep being the toughest, most adorable softball players in all the land!!! If your coaches say so, you could have games real soon.
To everyone: Have a GREAT season!

TOWSON DAY ~ 2012
You are invited to join us at Towson University for our Opening Day Festivities!
SATURDAY, APRIL 28TH
The Towson Tigers will be playing a double-header against Hofstra.
Schedule for the Day:
12:00PM - Game 1 Starts
Lunch and Snacks for All Parkville Families
1:30PM - Parade Line Up & Cheer/Banner Contest
2:00PM - Game 2 Starts
There will be moonbounces, free pizza lunch, foul ball frenzy prizes, prizes for the best banner/team spirit in each age group, meet the players autograph session and lots more fun!
It's really important for us to know how many people are attending to make sure we have enough food and that Towson is staffed appropriately.
Bring your chairs and blankets if you'd like.
Do we have any American Idol hopeful's in our softball community? Towson has asked if we have a player/parent/coach or volunteer that would like to sing the National Anthem at Towson Day on April 28th! Email us at parkvillegirlssoftball@hotmail.com if you think you could do it we would love to hear from you!Essay Contest - Ages 8 and up can submit a 50 word essay via email on why they love softball and a winner will be chosen at random to be the Bat Girl. Donation Requests: Each family should bring something to share (IE: one pack of cookies, one pack of paper plates per family) based on your league.
Pigtails/Ponytails - Please bring goodies. Cookies, cupcakes, etc. Please think about melting in making your choice.
Minor League - Chips. The snack lunch size work best.
National League - Please bring goodies. Cookies, cupcakes, etc. Please think about melting in making your choice.
American League - Chips. The snack lunch size work best.
Stars - Paper Plates, Napkins, or Paper Towels

Ages 7-18
SATURDAY, APRIL 14TH, 2012 at PINE GROVE MIDDLE SCHOOL
The clinic will be instructed by Parkville High Schools Varsity Softball Coach - April Smith and her team!
Pitching Clinic - 10AM (Arrive by 9:40 to check in/sign waiver and warm up)
Skills Clinic - 11:30 AM (Arrive by 11:10 to check in/sign waiver and warm up)
What to Bring: Glove, Bat & a ball (if you have one)
We will need some parent volunteers to stick around and help with catching. Please consider spending some time to help out! Please RSVP for either Or both clinics.
The clinics are open to all registered Parkville Rec softball players ages 7-18.

Practice schedules for all age groups have now been posted. Please check the SCHEDULES menu and choose your age group division and team. Schedules are listed by team. *Any fields listed as TBA will be updated shortly. We are working on updating these.
All practices are scheduled to start during the first week of April unless you have been advised differently by your coach. The first week of April is Spring Break for BCPS, but we will be having practices.
