Program Cancellations - April 27, 2024 - Baseball Clinics
Due to the condition of the field, the Baseball Clinics scheduled for today, Saturday, April 27th have been cancelled. The Baseball Clinics have been rescheduled for Saturday, May 4th (same times, same location).
Community Charitable Cookout
Mark your calendars!!! The Teutopolis State Bank and Sigel Community Bank will be hosting a Community Charitable Cookout on Friday, May 10th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at their parking lots. Hamburgers, pork burgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and drinks will be served (freewill donation). All donations will benefit the Teutopolis Park District and Sigel Park !!! Enjoy lunch and/or dinner without cooking or cleaning dishes! At the same time, you will be supporting a great cause - the maintenance of and improvements to the parks!
Golf Cart Movie Night!!!
Mark your calendars !!! The Teutopolis for Tomorrow Parks and Recreation Committee will be hosting the 4th annual Golf Cart Movie Night on Friday, May 31st at the Teutopolis Banquet Hall! Chairs and blankets are also welcome. The movie will be "Elemental" and will begin at dusk. The fun will start at 5 p.m. - Food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and henna tattoos will be available ... and, new this year, a petting zoo! There will also be a 50/50 drawing.
Admission is free!!! Donations will go toward future Teutopolis for Tomorrow projects and events. No outside food or drinks will be allowed. Please patronize the food trucks and the Teutopolis Banquet Hall. The village is allowing golf carts to be out until 11 p.m. for this event.
The Teutopolis Park District is proud to sponsor the movie! It's our way of saying "Thank You" to the Teutopolis Community, especially those who participate in our programs.

Water Fountain at Teutopolis Community Park
Please do not abuse the water fountain at the Teutopolis Community Park! Abuse broke the water fountain last year. It was unusable a large part of spring and summer while waiting on parts.
Please gently push the buttons with your hands. Do not hit the buttons hard or push them with something other than your hands (e.g. foot, bat). Please do not allow children to climb on, sit on, or stand on the water fountain. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Baseball and Softball - Rosters and Scheduled Practices
The rosters for baseball and softball have been posted on the web site. Two practices have been scheduled for each team. Two rain dates for practices have been scheduled for each league. These have been finalized and are available on our web site. To find a team's practices, click the "Schedules" menu option then, click "Schedules" from the drop down list. Select the league from the "Division" dropdown list then, the team from the "Team" dropdown list.
There are 48 park district teams, 10 traveling teams, as well as Teutopolis High School's varsity and junior varsity teams using the park district's diamonds. Scheduled practices ensure that each park district team has at least two opportunities to practice. Park district coaches can schedule more practices, if they choose to do so.
Tennis Clinics
The Teutopolis Park District will be holding "Tennis Clinics" for boys and girls in grades 3-4 of Teutopolis Unit 50 School District at the Teutopolis Grade School tennis courts:
Dates: May 13, May 14, and May 16
Grade 3: 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
Grade 4: 6:45 - 8:00 p.m.
The instructor is Kenna Koester and the cost is $15.
Please note that these clinics are a separate program from the "Summer Tennis" program. The clinics are instructional and will cover the fundamental skills of tennis and the rules of the game.
Registration is available online or the registration form can be downloaded and mailed in. The sign-up deadline is May 1st.
Baseball Clinics
The Teutopolis Park District will be holding "Baseball Clinics" for boys in grades 1-6 of Teutopolis Unit 50 School District at the Teutopolis Community Park - South Diamond:
Dates: April 20 and April 27
Times: Grades 4, 5, and 6: 9 - 10 a.m.
Grade 3: 10 - 11 a.m.
Grade 2: 11 a.m. - Noon
Grade 1: Noon - 1 p.m.
The instructor will be TJHS Coach Tony Martin. The cost is $15.
These clinics will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and base running.
Parents are encouraged to attend these clinics with their child to learn the techniques taught.
Participants should bring their glove. Participants should also bring a bat, helmet, and a pair of spikes, if they have them.
Registration is available online or the registration form can be downloaded and mailed in. The sign-up deadline is April 14th.

Tiered Fee
The Teutopolis Park District uses a tiered fee for most of its programs. A guideline has been posted to the web site for determining the tier (and, therefore, the fee) that a registrant is eligible for. Click on "Forms" then "Download Forms" in the dropdown menu. Click the "Tiered Fee" link to view the document.

Pavilion Reservation Requests
The Teutopolis Park District is now accepting requests for pavilion reservations online. Pavilion availability also can be found online. For details, please download "Pavilion Reservation Requests" (see the "Download Forms" menu option).
Park Rules
Motorized vehicles, including golf carts, side-by-sides, and scooters, are NOT allowed on park grounds, except parking lots.
Pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
The Teutopolis Park District does not allow an individual or group to use its facilities for personal profit. This includes, but is not limited to lessons, clinics, camps etc. held by an individual or group for a fee.
These rules apply to the Community Park, Mini-Park, and Church Diamond. They have been established for the safety of and enjoyment of the parks by everyone. Thank you for your cooperation! :)
