Attention All Players in Grades 8-11:
The 2012 Keystone games will be played August 2-5, 2012 in Harrisburg. The Scholastic Division is for Current Sophomores and Juniors and The Junior Division is for Current 8th and 9th Graders. Last year 82 players tried out for the PA West Scholastic Senior team and 20 select players were chosen to comprise our team. There are 3 pro-style tryouts this year. The 1st tryout date is Sunday June 10th from 10am-12noon in Rostraver Pa at the Divirgilio Complex(The Junior Division will tryout from 12-2pm.) near the intersection of Rt70 and Rt 51. Another tryout date in Tuesday June 26th at Haymaker park in Murrysville 10-12noon and 12-2pm for the Junior Division. A third tryout date will be June 16th TBA. Please see the website http://www.keystonegames.com/baseball.html. the cost to tryout is $10 and you will need to register on the website or on site the day of the tryout.
The games are heavily attended by NCAA and NAIA coaches. Last year as a result of the games 3 of our players were seen and offered scholarships. This is a great opportunity to be seen!
