• 12 Managers, who either managed, or are managing in College or in MLB) – Billy Martin, Yogi Berra, Dom Scala, then the Bullpen Coach, now the manager at Adelphi University, Scott Bradley (manager at Princeton), Don Mattingly (Dodgers), Willie Randolph (Mets/Brewers), Don Baylor (Rockies), Lou Piniella (Reds, Mariners, Cubs, Rays, Yankees), Stump Merrill (Yankees), Jeff Torborg (Indians, White Sox, Mets, Expos, Marlins), Buck Showalter – then a young coach at Oneonta, and Gene Michael, who was the architect of the great Yankee teams of the 90’s.

Most people will read above, and think - Yankee Batboy. I treated that like a job interview. I knew early on I wanted to be a coach and positively affect kids the way so many coaches gave of their time and affected me in the same manner. I have been fortunate enough to be taught and mentored by some of the best men in the game. More than a few of those mentioned above,as well as Kevin Long - (former NY Yankee & Current NY Mets Batting Coach) have visited with and worked with our kids.

We have just tried to pass the love of the game along and teach some life lessons along the way.
