Kirby returned to Canada in December 2015 after attending North Lakes College in Irving, Texas and playing for the Blazers Baseball Team for two years. Three years ago, Kirby was among the Top 40 players chosen to try out for Team Ontario. Prior to attending North Lakes, Kirby was a member of the Oakville Royals Baseball Club for 3 years. Last summer Kirby played baseball in Saskatchewan for the Melville Millionaires. Kirby has been playing baseball for 15 years, and has gained an extreme amount of knowledge from the different teams he has played for. “I am very excited to be able to share my knowledge with young baseball players and teach them what I have learned. I love the game of baseball and I hope that I can instill the passion I have for it into others.” Kirby is the head coach of the 18U Central Ontario Reds team as well as the president of the Central Ontario Reds organization. Kirby was also the assistant coach for the Laurentian Voyageurs at Laurentian University this fall. Kirby plays first base and catcher and also works at Smith Brothers Baseball Central as a Hitting, Infielding and Catching Instructor.
