Larry Schwartz is beginning his 4th year as a Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach and his 2nd year at Branham. Coach Schwartz has been actively involved with coaching youth baseball for over 20 years. He most recently coached for 2 years at Westmont High School with Coach Pianto in 2010 and 2011. He has managed players from 6-18 years of age with focus on improving fundamental skills and bringing out the personal best in each player. He was a manager/coach of six league championships and nine All-Star teams at Branham Hills Little League in
San Jose. The highlight of his Little League coaching career was managing the Branham Hills Senior Division to wins in District, Sectionals and State championships. His team went on to represent Northern California in the Little League Western Regionals in Salem, Oregon where they went 2-2. Coach Schwartz was recently involved with the Premier Baseball, a traveling team. He began coaching Premier at the 14 and under level and concluded coaching travel ball with the 18 and under division. Coach Schwartz was born and raised in
San Jose and attended Prospect High School, West Valley College and a graduate of Alameda University. He played baseball at a competitive and recreational level for over 40 years. He and his wife, Sandy, live in
San Jose. They have two children, Stacie and Gregg.
