We no longer can purchase the USAW cards for our wrestlers!

* Singlet: included in your fee for kids in 2nd thru 8th grades. Each wrestlers will need to provide a $65.00 Deposit for the singlet, your individual deposit will be collected during the uniform hand-out.

General Information:

* All boys grade 2-6 in Warren, Watchung, Long Hill & Green Brook are eligible to participate
* Our program was developed to provide a healthy environment for local kids to learn the fundamentals of wrestling and competition.
* Our wrestlers participate in the Central Jersey (CJL) Midget Wrestling Leagues (for 2nd thru 6th grade) and we participate in the NJ Grade School League (for 5th thru 8th grade)
* Wrestlers are matched according to weight only for CJ and NJ grade School leagues
* Our staff consists of former high school and collegiate wrestling champions. Head Coaches are certified by the USA Wrestling Association. All coaches have taken the Rutgers coaching certification course and are trained in CPR and basic first aid.
* Practice will be held between 1 and 3 days a week depending on the childs age. SCHEDULE TO FOLLOW AFTER REGISTRATION
* Season extends from November through Late February

* Practice will begin on or about October 23rd.
* Program fee includes 1 year membership to WHWA, a team T-shirt, and a Singlet rental.
* A singlet is required as per league rules when wrestling a match or tournament.
* Each child must have wrestling head gear, wrestling shoes and a mouth piece with braces.
* Optional Uniforms: Warm-up Suit (Top & Bottom)
* Uniform orders will be processed on or about 2nd week of October. Late fees will apply

Insurance will not be provided by or through the Watchung Hills Wrestling Association program.
