Leagues For Boys:

Mosquito League (coach pitch): grades 1 & 2
Intermediate League (kid pitch): grades 3 & 4
Little League (kid pitch): grades 5 & 6

Leagues For Girls:

Minor League (coach pitch): grades 1 & 2
Intermediate (kid pitch): grades 3 & 4
Major League (kid fast pitch): grades 5 & 6

WAIVER INFORMATION
I, the undersigned, being the parent and/or legal guardian of the listed named registrant, do hereby for myself and the registrant, our heirs and executors release and forever discharge the Grandview Baseball Softball Association (GBSA) and its officers and volunteers from all debts, claims, demands, damages, actions and causes of action whatsoever, past, present or future which can or may ever be asserted, as a result of said registrant’s participation in the GBSA’s program, including travel to and from practices and games.

NOTE to all baseball parents considering purchase of bats: As in past years, there are NO BIG BARREL BATS allowed in GBSA. All bats in leagues Mosquito through Little League must be 2 ¼ in diameter.

While the precise dates of the season are not yet known, it is anticipated that games will begin early May and, depending upon the number of teams, could continue into mid July for the tournament. In an effort to form the most even teams possible, please let us know the dates of any camps or vacations your child has planned, including during Grandview’s “family week” (July 1st - 5th) and during the following week (July 7-13).

COACHING/SPONSOR POSSIBILITIES

PLEASE NOTE: Coaches are assigned on an “as-needed” basis. Sometimes we have plenty of coaches; other times, we struggle to find them. All coaches will be required to complete a background check and concussion training. Any fee for the background check will be covered by the GBSA. Concussion training is available on line free of charge. Coaches will be required to attend a pre-season coaches meeting where the league rules and expectations will be discussed.
