Team Scorpion Volunteer Acknowledgment/Opt Out

Team Scorpion is a nonprofit organization. All coaches and board members are people in our community that volunteer their time to help our children be successful and have fun in the sport of wrestling. In order for our club to effectively host tournaments we need the help of parent volunteers. We will host two tournaments during the Folkstyle season and one during the Freestyle/Greco-Roman season. We require each family to volunteer at two of those tournaments. We understand it's not always feasible for parents with small children or multiple wrestlers to volunteer. We also understand some folks simply do not wish to. For those that are unable to volunteer we offer the option to buy out your volunteer requirement. For $50 you can opt out of volunteering at one of the tournaments ($100 for both).

The roles we will need filled are: setup and cleanup, registration, hospitality room, greeters, concessions, medals, weigh ins, body checks and table help.

Parents will NOT miss out on seeing their child wrestle because they are volunteering.

It takes a lot to run a tournament but the more help we have the more successful the endeavor.

DO NOT PAY AT THIS TIME. THIS WILL BE EXPLAINED IN FURTHER DETAIL DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF PRACTICE AND ALSO AT THE PARENT MEETING.
