As conditioning of volunteering, I give my permission to the Big Bend Youth Football League to conduct a background check on me if they deem it necessary, which may include a review of sex offender registries, child abuse, and criminal history records. I hereby release and hold harmless from liability the BBYFL League, officers, and volunteers of suck league or any other person that may provide such information. I understand that I am subject to suspension by the league officers and can be removed, for the violation of the Big Bend Youth Football League policies and principles.

Coaching letter of intent and contract

I am submitting this letter of intent to show my interest in coaching a football team or cheerleading squad.

By signing this agreement, I am committing to the team I am chosen for. I agree to choose assistant coaches that will be productive for my team. I agree to be available to help the league with things such as tag day, camp, concessions, chain crew, homecoming events, and/or find someone who will be available to be there in my place. I agree to be at all my team's practices and games, and if I am unable, will appoint one of my assistants to be in charge, and will make this known to officers.

I have not been convicted of a felony of any kind, including, but not limited to child endangerment or pedophile. I give my permission to the Big Bend Youth Football League to conduct a background check at times if they deem it necessary.

I will not come to any BBYFL function under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I will not use any form of tobacco or shameless tobacco while on the field at any time. I hereby release & hold harmless from any liability to BBYFL if any injuries occurred to myself while coaching.

I agree to hold practice on the days and times decided on by the BBYFL officers and will get pre-approved for any changes I would like to make in this schedule.

I understand that it will be my responsibility to find a chain crew for my games before game day and will let league officials know if they need help finding people.

I understand that if my team is the first team to play that we are to arrive 45 minutes to an hour early to help finish getting everything ready for the game(s). If we are the last team to play we are to stay and help take everything off the field and pick up trash from the property before we are to leave.
