NOV/DEC COMPETITIVE CATCHING CLASS Catching Class Class Description: Experience the game from behind the plate: LOCKED IN BASEBALL is excited to offer a new Baseball Developmental Program geared toward the serious player. Learn the necessary fundamentals and skills needed to play catcher. Topics to be covered: Player umpire relations, positioning, understanding common hitter flaws, controlling the defense, shutting down the running game, as well as the lost art of game calling and how to set up batters. Understand how to help your pitcher get batters out.Players will be introduced to baseball theory, and given the understanding of the when and why runners would be running. Also players will be taught what is expected from them relating to the pitcher catcher dynamic. This class is a must for catchers of all ages who want to refine their skills and get better at the toughest and most neglected position on the field. Cost of Class is $320 for 8 sessions |
