| I don't think that is right. I think it is if you have your attendance and points as a combined percentage. Could be wrong but the other message sounds wrong also

| All I have heard since the start of the year was the top 5.But like we are use to on the very last day it changes to anyone with 80% attendance and we all know why.I can't believe you guys are going to put up with this. If certain people are going to QUOTE RULES out of the rule book to Bern I think he should quote a few rules out of the same book to them.Why is it that the people in the right always got to protest? I think the people that want to change something should be the ones to protest. Someone that has been around racing in NFLD. for a long time told me a few weeks ago that a certain car was going to make the chase with or without the points and I said NO WAY! I should have listened to him.He knew what was going to happen.Anyways, Congratulations to the other 4 guys. You EARNED your spots!

| What is all the complaining about- Car 2 is in 6TH PLACE, no body said that car 2 was in the top 5. Also, car 2 was NOT the only car that made it in the run under the rule of 80%. Good luck to all drivers, race hard and safe.

| the race for the 2000 includes 28 cars in 4 divisions.. 20 who earned their way and 8 which bern decided to let in in the last week..seems unfair to me.but i only race every week ,i dont make up the law. i have to beat 8 drivers who were unfairly included,why????

| You should have discussed it at the meeting last night? I don't know what the big deal is you obviously raced against 8 cars before. It is just now that cars will be racing harder. If you made the top 5 you must be a good racer, so therefore racing a couple of more cars should not make a difference, in some of the 4's there are sometimes 19 - 20 cars racing at one time. Just don't understand what the big deal is.

| You don't understand,we ran all year with the belief that only the top 5 of each class are getting into the chase and on the last day they change everything around.If you don't understand that then there can't be to much that you do understand.

| Just got a fax from Bern, new rule adjustments.The chase for the championship is now going to be the top 5 in points,anyone with 80% in,anyone with blue,red,green or grey car,anyone over the age of 17,anyone under the age of 92,all one leg drivers and two,male or female,anyone that has made a lap around the track in the last 3 years driving or walking,anyone with a bald head or a full head of hair,anyone from any part of NFLD. or any where else,anyone that can count to 10 and anyone that can,t.It should be a good chase!

| I'm sure that his motor is alright.The last time I was in his garage the biggest motor problem he could have is trying to figure out what one he was going to use.Stick to your guns #52 I agree with you 100% and from what I heard in the pits Sunday alot of other people do to.

| there are more ways to protest if he didn't like the decion about the top 5 now being the top 8 but staying home?if he was so great all year to get 4th place against 20 cars he should of been good enough to defend his spot against 4 drivers behind him instead of just one.but just like a 5 year old "i am taking my alleys and going home"
