So this is the where all the trash talking takes place huh? Nice. I'm gonna put in my three cents...
The CFL continues to grow each year. Player are getting stronger, faster, and in some cases able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. We even have a website which I've found out can actually get you into or out of the playoffs??? But never mind all that what I really want to talk about is COMMITMENT.
While the players continue to get better and better their COMMITMENT to the CFL seems to be getting worse! The CFL season is about 12 weeks long so when you make a commitment to play be there!!! Of course there are going to be some exceptions, but getting married is not one of them (O.K. it could be but you get what I am saying).
If you can't COMMIT to being there week in and week out, then go join some leage at the YMCA or Oakland Yard or wherever, just don't play here!

Tucker is nice to see a website rookie/coach make his first post. If I were you I would stay away from the site on a regular basis, because making a COMMITMENT to talk trash week in and week out just does no good.

I agree with you that players entering the league should make a full time COMMITMENT for 10-12 weeks because playing in the CFL is a privilege!!!

So what are you looking for in return for a trade to Amer???

White might consider trading our next years 9th round pick for him

Tucker-aka Vinilla, I could not agree more. Player's must realize like Chris Z. pointed out that playing in the CFL is an honor. Coming back after a six-year hiatious, it was a great feeling seeing old faces as well as some young new blood. Those players that do not show up on a regular basis must realize that they are cancerous to the team as well as the league. The league must address this if it continues to be a problem. Just like anything else-you don't know what you have until it is taken away.
Tucker, congrats on losing your virginity on the website.

Hey Boomer, did you hear about the joke about the rookie last year who skipped out on the last game of the season to go to a birthday party. not to mention, his needed a win to clinch a playoff spot. well it ended terribly with his team missing out on the playoffs while he was downing margaritas.

Heres A hint Boom, he played on blue last year

Good luck

Let’s leave the past in the past and look to the future. From this point forward I think anyone who does not respect the league, by respect the league, I mean putting your personal agenda before your responsibility to your team, your teammates and your league. I can tell you all that I have played 18 years in this league and I have missed only one game and it was in my 16th season after we clinched a playoff spot and we played a team we were sure to beat (we beat them 6 on 7).

So to back up what Brian is talking about, we that have been around forever and have done whatever it took to get to the field before game time. Let me give those of you that don’t know what it means to sacrifice a few examples. Brian Najor moved to New York City to pursue a career in day trading. He flew back every weekend to play in each and every game that season. Next example for four years Joey Jonna drove hung over from East Lansing the morning of the game. Joey showed up to each and every game on time except the time he got his tires slashed (sorry Joey we needed the win). Do you guys need more examples? If so read on… if not skip to the next paragraph. Back in the day there were no injuries, well there was but you didn’t sit out. You used duct tape. People used to pull hamstrings and play the very next game and some time the very next play (like Ray did last week). We don’t like to miss games. People play with bad backs. When someone separated a shoulder they pulled flags with the other hand. I’m not saying someone with a broken jaw like Joey Kejbo should play before giving it a chance to heal, but I bet he comes back before he should. Joey K is a perfect example of what our league is all about. I don’t remember him missing a game. Have you had enough? If so skip to the next paragraph if not read on. Roy Sitto had to take his son to his hockey game the morning of a game, what Roy did that day was wake up extra early and take his son Jake to his hockey game and drove directly from there to the field without stretching jumped out on the field and played QB. Bob Semaan walked off the field the day he severed his Achilles tendon, he went through rehab for a short time (20 weeks) flew to Orlando Florida with the rest of Team Camel for Nationals knowing good and well there was no way he could play, but when Joey Kejbo got hit late by some steroid head and I dragged the guy across the field by his neck and got kicked out of the game. Who do you think was the first guy to run out on the field to take my spot to help the team? You got it Bob was. You must have had enough by now. So read on to the next paragraph.

We need to protect our league. The next time someone thinks it’s okay to leave town during the season or the playoffs. Think again. It’s not okay. You are letting your team down and disrespecting your coach and the league.

I recommend next year that anyone that has the privilege of playing in the CFL will have to agree before the draft to ask permission in writing to miss a specific week. Games missed for personal reasons need to be known about before the draft. At that time the coaches and the committee will vote on who should be in the league based on their availability to make each and every game.

You would think that after Amer and Tyson missed that game last year with all the shit they got someone would have pointed out how offensive it was to the entire league. Because of the shit talk on the chat board it appeared to be more humorous then serious, when in reality it was a huge knock on the league. Another reason a huge deal wasn’t made was the fact that their coach Brian Najor was on his honeymoon and the debacle I caused by posting a selfish playoff push about what we (red) needed to do in order to get into the playoffs. Not thinking that a lot of the players looked to me for vital information about how things were going to play out. I apologies for that and the league has put things in place to ensure that won’t happen again.

This is not a knock on Tyson or Amer or anyone else in the league, or anything that happened in the past. Going forward we want only players that can make the commitment to the league and to their teammates.

The modeling business is fine it's the league that worries me. Well not so much the league but the growth of it and its future.

Nolan

We can switch cars every Saturday night because my truck is bigger than your car and now that you and Nathan roll up together and just in the nick of time. I'm not sure how comfortable the two of you can be sleeping in your car. I'll stock it with a couple of sleeping bags too.

I have a story but it's a long one and my manicurist advised me not to type so much so remind me to tell you all when I see you Sunday. It’s about Team Camel.

Hey who is coming to Nationals this year? We will have one heck of a squad this year if everyone makes the… what’s the word I’m looking for? Huh I forgot.

Anyone in the CFL is welcome to come to Florida and represent Team Camel in Orlando Florida in the National tournament.

Two years ago we had about 40 guys commit and I think we had 13 show up. Last year we had 25 commit and we had 8 guys show up.

We would be honored to have you as a part of Team Camel

Ahh, Nationals. Well, for those who are interested in paying a non-refundable deposit around Thanksgiving, the National Tourney is January 13th, 14th, and 15th in Orlando, Florida. It sucked how it went down last year when everyone waited to book tickets and avoided my phone calls and I had to beg like a bitch to get people to come. But everytime I think about how hard the guys we did have played, it makes me very proud to have been a part of it. And I definitely plan on doing it again this year. I will book Northwest Flight 416 for $245, as well as a house today if we can get other committments. I know everyone has jobs, but 4 months notice should be plenty to get a little time off. I'm not sure I could stomach going down there for a third straight year and losing to a team that we should blow off the field if we had any kind of depth. I can tell everyone from experience, WE WOULD BE THE BEST TEAM OUT THERE IF WE TOOK A FULL SQUAD! Let me know.

I'm in too but you already knew that. Jordan I don't want to speak for Joey but I know you are probably clicking back and forth to see if he responses. So, you’re in. You can go back to work or whatever it was you were doing.

Well the 4 of us should be able to go down there and make some noise. We have 3 guys from first place 3-0 White and a key player in all 3 Red losses. So combined we’re 3-3… TEAM… right guys?

I am going to take a more active roll in recruiting and holding people accountable this year for the Nationals. I'm sorry for not having your back last year. I was in a very critical stage of a start up company and couldn't take my eye off the ball last January. This year I'm ready to go and ready to recruit. If we can’t get enough guys to commit I’ll go down to Orlando a month early and recruit guys there.

Thanks AT. That's good to hear. And last year was understandable. Really, I thought I had it under control until people started screening my calls, then I got a little nervous.

Jordan, of course you are in. I met your mom last night at a charity event. You are very lucky to have such supportive parents.

I like that quote. TEAM CAMEL, Serious Business

I can tell everyone right now, it will probably be about $200 or less per person and that includes the tourney fees, the house(s), and two brand new Team Camel shirts. But we only get the shirts if we have enough people no later than one month in advance.
Everyone who is in can pay a non-refundable $100 deposit to AT or I and that will guarantee you a place on the team, a place to stay, a shirt with the number of your choice, two shots of Patron (each night we go out), a decent shot of watching AT and Bob run a train on some whore, an opportunity to silence a bunch of teams who think they are better than they really are, a chance to talk to the girls that Kejbou blows off at the bar, a trip to a strip bar where you can't get within 10 feet of a stripper (but you can buy them new sherwala), a ride in a pimped out Astro Van on 16's, a chance to see me black out then puke at the bar then disapear without telling anyone then pass out with all my clothes on (and shoes) after 25 shots of Patron, and most importantly... A chance to represent Team Camel and bring home a National f***ing Championship.
