| I'm beginning to feel a little like Rickey Henderson, bouncing around at hthe end of a long career. Bob, thanks for having the faith in me to trade arguably the best athlete in the league ( I know getting Derek doesn't hurt either). You know I will give you everything left in my tank to win football games.
Gold-we went toe-to-toe with the defending champs,had the ball at midfield with 4 minutes to play and coulda (shoulda) won. I take full responsibility for not getting it done.This will probably be the last time anyone on Gold takes it upon themselves after a loss and doesn't point fingers at his teammates.

Stop the self pity. You are the best QB in our league not counting the guy that has that special deal with God. You know the same deal that you had not so long ago. Deal aside you are the best and will be the best QB for years to come. This is football not baseball, baseball is for pussies so don’t compare yourself to a pussy.
If you look at who was bouncing you around, you shouldn’t take it personally (Karl and Me) we have made two or three of the dumbest trades in CFL history. Both involved trading you.
Bob never traded you and look he won 2 out of three titles. Not bad huh?
Believe me Chuck is going to kick himself in the ass for a long time, just like I have been since the day I pulled the trigger on such a dumb deal. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone and you my friend still have it.
I can tell you… Bob is going to fire you up all game and rest of the season.
The CFL is your home and you are family to us.

| AT, you're right about the self-pity,and i'm over it now. What was i thinking comparing myself to a stat freak like Henderson. At this point i only truely care about winning and, Bob i'm ready for you to lead us to hthe promised land. Thanks for the kind words,AT, for years I took this great league for granted,and now am really honored to have a place in it.GREEN MACHINE IS BACK !!!.Roy, how about giving us Ray for a future (2009) draft pick?
