| Matchup 1 (Game 1 on feb. 28)
Martin Marie vs. Megan & Michael
the green machine may have finished in first in the regular season, mostly without there star player DTK, they can't take the last place toodles squad lightly. with that big fella on the blue line controlling the whole game and blockhead providing the scoring touch, their a hard duo to stop,not to mention tim murphy and the delicate touch he has in front of the net. offence will not be their problem. with big red and walker back in the lineup its only boosting an already potent offence.
now the green fellas held there own against the blue boys the year, they are on a bit of a cold streak as of late. they got to start playin a whole lot better come playoffs. with the best defence in the league their up for a challenge to shut down the boys. an offence that was red hot all year scoring a league leading 110 goals in the regular season, goal scoring is not a problem, the forwards just gotta play smart d, back check hard and send one man in forechecking leaving the rest of the boys to take away those passing lanes that andy ALWAYS finds. luke s as been all year the besty goalie in the league so he just got to play the way hes playin all year. the workhorse (adam o'brien)has been a big pickup for the boys providing that jump they needs to get goin and the return of the DTK in the second week will provide a big morale boost for the green squad
Prediction: If the green fellas can regain their form i believe they can take it in 3. they just have to play andy hard and try not to give him much to work with.now thats a big task to complete but it has to be done if the green peas wants to reach the finals.

Atlantic Eavestrough vs. The Royal Touch
all 3 of these games are gonna come down to the wire.
The white boys have had it tough this year with getting bodies to fill those sweaters. Being defending champs they have that extra bit of pressure riding on their shoulders. if they can get all their bodies in the lineup LOOK OUT!!!
if keith, brent, and robert can devote themselves it will provide the offensive and defensive talent the boys need. and with the return of the other workhorse of the league and uncontested grittiest fella in the league jody boland it won't be work ethic missin from the white fellas squad. After givin up the biggest lead of the year 2 weeks ago and completing the biggest third period comeback of the year this week consistency will be a question mark.
the royal touch have had it going as of late. they got a strong offensive squad and with the big acquisition of gerry chidley on d it made a strong defencive squad even stronger. they will miss geoff boland and bobby s a great deal in the playoffs. maybe geoff will be home for the third game of the first round but it might be a little to late. swainer will have to have a strong playoffs.
Predictions: white in 3 if they gets the boys back. i don't think the yellow boys can hold them off if the boys returns
