TOPIC: Where are the refs ? |

| Just wondering what happened to the refs last night. You guys show up all year and when it comes playoff time only one guy can make it. Now I'm not saying that the little guy did a bad job but its hard for him to be everywhere at once to catch all the offsides ,icings, and penalties.
I would like to commend all players for bearing with the little guy and not giving him too hard of a time. I also hope that he received payment for 2 refs because the little guy skated his heart out and did his very best. I bet he's tired today in class. If he was old enough to drink I'd send him a bottle of rum. Whoever you are little guy, thanks a whole lot for last night's effort.

| Yeah I think the munchkin did a great job as well. He missed a close offside once but thats all you can do when its only one guy having to be everywhere.
Well done Calvert for not going up in arms about only having one ref and being good sports about it. And well done ref for giving it your all.

| just to let everyone know what happened last night. I had a midget hockey game in town, which was also why luke couldnt make all of his game, so i arranged for adam white to do my games for me. That was best kind, but then ray tried to get somebody to fill in for him as well and couldnt find anyone. So on my way home from the game in town "squigley" called me and i dropped in to do the clock for the second game so he could go on the ice with adam and the second game was done two-man. and yes he did get paid double for being on himself the first game. My apologies bys for the mix up but theres not much else i could do about that.

| Thanks for the info Petey, the kid did best kind by himself and thats all you can do isn't it, can't be two places at once. What about matty is he going to ref either game now that he is home?

| Fella's just to let you know, Mackey has nothing to do with getting refs for our league anymore because he was not on the ball for us, however Peter has done all of our games and he has done a great Job. so in the future you should be looking for Peter not Mackey if you wan't soething done.
