| On a nice February day on Lance Cove path, Larry Clubber Sullivan asked me if I was Wartsy. I denied it. This was the only person to ask me all season.
It's been a great year with lots of tall tales told and lots of fun. I hope that everyone had a good laugh at my posts and that no-one is bitter from my stories.
Larry was e-mailing the scores to me when I was absent and little bits of info that I would use. He was totally unaware as to the info that he was leaking.
Big Phil and the Tank were most focussed on but I knew that they could handle it. It was fun to keep ye all guessing especially when you were so far off.
Anyway the time has come. WARTSY IS NONE OTHER THAN A.J.S.

| Thanks Dermot. It was easy growing up next door to yourself, Josie, and Paddy.
Id like to thank Big Phil for not letting the secret out. He found out 3 weeks ago. Also , thanks to Larry who supplied me with enough information [without knowing it ] to write my post from the rig.
Great rookie season Tank. Keep up the training in the off-season.

| Way to go Alf. That created a great bit of entertainment all season. You were my first guess so i decided to bring it up to you that day on lovely Lance Cove path and when you denied it I was puzzled. But anyway im glad you kept it from me as it was only fair and a lot of fun for the rest of the year. Hopefully we will see a Wartsy 2 next season from some other talented writer like yourself. Good luck to blue and yellow in the finals and everyone have a great summer.

| Well done Alfie! It was a pleasure to be involved in the guessing game that created the "Legend of Wartsila".
It was tough keeping your identity to myself especially this past weekend at O'Reilly's as every pint led to another slight slip of the tongue, but I held true.
After a season of witty and humorus sound bites, I suspect you will go down in the long and glamorous history of Calvert rec hockey.
Look foreward to hearing from Wartsy 2 or another colorful personality next year!

| I know there is somewhat of an agreement to stay on everyone's own site....but i just wanted to give a thumbs up to this wartsy character. I have to admit, you made things intersting for your fellow players in your league. Good to see some people are still just playing this game for the pure fun and enjoyment that comes with it.
Well i hope this don't start any shit,and maybe it can even show ye fuckers....(nothing serious)...that we're not all assholes down here.

| As President and El Capitan of this site I say to you my Gouldigan friend post away.
There must have been a miscommunication in the mix of things cause we don't condone outside posts just negative ones. You guys vote for Loyola S. too so your considered the shore on paper.
The site is here for CEL players and fans and everyone else as well. I hope we get a Trevor Walsh (maybe you know of him, former Gouldigan) amount of hits next season.
So post away and keep your stick on the ice, and yes Warsty was classic this year. He may get a full fledged column next year.
