TOPIC: Calvert vs Ferryland......and 3 other communities |

| well tonite there was a battle of who is the best. The was a ballhockey series between Calvert and Ferryland.....and well Cape broyal, aquaforte, and Fermuse. It was a best 2 out of 3 and well afer losing the first game Calvert had to step it up and they did and they went on a roll winnin the second and takin the lead in da third but it was to no avail ass the OTHERS came backand tied it 9-9. In the end it came down to who got the luckiest bounce and well sorry boys but after a steller performance by scott drew in net and after the first 4 shots he was out oif reach for the last. So we will give Ferryland and the others the credit but Calvert is still a top the hockey ranking as it took for communities to bet one community by only a single goal. Well done By's

| well thanks boys, Id like to start by saying congratulations to calvert on a hard fought loss, but i knew we could do it, im gonna watch what i say on the calvert site but all i have to say is that it didnt come down to the luckiest bounce, the last 2 minutes was all shots on drewy who was hung out to dry by his teammates. Good game to everyone, and see ye all tomorrow where i'll be sure to remind everyone who lost

| Well bys if Calvert is the best ye should of won but ye didn't. Ye can use the excuse Calvert VS 4 Community's but with an all Calvert Team ye should of won the way ye likes to get on. Looks like for Calvert to win they will have the draft a few of the bys from the 2006 Ball Hockey Champs.
Better come up with anothere EXCUSE bys.

| First of all, i would just like to say congrats to "THE OTHERS" on there big win over calvert (10-9). sure, ferryland is all smiles now after there big victory, but calvert hasnt been one for excuses. We dressed 9 CALVERT born and raised players and played against the only 3 that ferryland could manage to come up with,along with the other 6 that were imports haha. Now, sure "The Others" won fair and square but how can Ferryland say they are the champs lol, all 4 communites should b proud of beating the once again ALL CALVERT team. By the way Calvert's always open for a REMATCH. Maybe next time it will b a just FERRYLAND and Calvert matchup, but every1 nos that will never happen.

| Well boys, its good to see the tradition continues. While its sounds like it was a hard fought match I would have to see some video proof to form my opinion on the topic.
All that being said, I would venture to guess that the Calvert boys will prevail in future games and continue the long and prestigious legacy of Excellence

| well boys just 24 hours from now calvert and "others" will be getting ready for the rematch of the century, then bragging rights will be owned and settled by which ever squad brings their A game to effect. hopefully ferryland can recrute some more players to add to their 3 "champions" as they would say. just to let everyone know calvert has never been people of exuses when it comes to hockey of any kind.
anyways hope to see you all at the school 6:30 monday night. im sure both teams will be ready.

| Well HB (Big phil) the legacy lives on as calvert went on to beat the "Others" tonite in 2 games. It was a good nite of hockey as well all know and bothe teams played exceptionally well. Great games by's. hope to see the same enthusiasm Sunday nite as we will play to end the best 2 out of 3. See ye all tomorrow.

| well boys..calvert has done it..2 strait wins over others, with an outstanding performance by scott drew between the pipes and also a good performance by denis croft (aquaforte) in goal for the others, both teams played well but calvert turned out to be the winner. great games bys and we will see you sunday night for the final decision of ball hockey 2006.

| well bys it was a good year all around. Great series everyone...hell of a ride. But the credit goes to the other's with the win . Great nite and well its been fun but for us grade 12 it is all over now. I hope the rivalry lives on. Well newayz congratulations bys.

| I agree good year bys. Hell of a way to end of our grade 12ball hockey. Both teams played wicket and id just like to say good job Drew and Rat ye played wicket all year.

| man what a night of ball hockey....two great teams and 1 great finish....yes there was 3 or 4 comunities on "The Others" team and Calvert had all born and raised but ya have to admit it was great hockey.....Yes the bys had to recruit me because there wasnt enough grittyness in the game but when it is all said and done "The Others" won and i hope we can do this again next year!

| well bys...its been a great year off ball hockey and it has come to an end..with "the others" being the raining champs in our tie breaker of the best 2 out of 3 series, may i say very good effort put in by both squads and exellent goaltenting by Scott Drew in goal for Calvert and Denis Croft (aquaforte). hopefully this rivalry will live on after this year..ill try to keep it going and find enough fellas 2 be der on monday nights lol..and a good bye to all me grade 12 buddies its been a good year wit all of ye despite all the scrums were all buddys in the end. well im off...once again a congrats to the others on their victory! and im out
