| he was lucky to just have a few broken ribs it could of been alot worse i think theres to many cars out there there should be two heats instead of one theres to many cars out there someone is going to be killed

| if he was wearing his seat belt he would have been even better, plus his helmet wasn,t done up, i can,t beleive how you are all so quick to blame bern when it,s the irresponsibility of the driver himself to not take the proper safety precautions in his own car!

| Do anyone believe that a seatbelt just done cut it. All of the cars should have the Safety Harness, even the smaller cars. The 4's are the ones that flip over the most it seems.

| I totally agree with you Mad dog. If something is not done someone is going to get killed. The drivers should not be able to drive with out it. Racing is not worth losing your life. I can tell you, I will not be a fan at the raceway if stuff like that continues to happen.
Thank God that Jimmy is okay and I wish for him to get better soon..

| at least it is good to hear that Jimmy is okay i was really concered because he looked like he wasnt going to be very well. well hopefully the drivers will get a harness and a helmet with it done up!!! i dont think bern wants that to happen again!

| yes, I have a five point harness, but I loaned it to my daughter Angie for her safety, because she is going to school and I wouldnt want her to get hurt out on the track!!! Mad Dog can get hurt too but I would not come tghrough the window because I am too big!! And my seatbelt works perfect for me!! Do you know I will soon be a senior citizen?? But when you speak the truth it hurts Burn and his staff at Avondale Speedway. I am not trying to stir up the pot i am just talking facts!! I told Jim Chaulker that there was too many cars on the track at the one time, but Chaulker has no say on this, Bern got all the say aboput what goes on on the track, So.. for your information why dont you sign your name to what you are talking about! jimmy had to be sent back to the hospital today from alot of pain in his ribs and a possible lung puncture. So. Turn 3 had a rut into it when the I was out racing and I used to keep cutting away from it, the rules need to be inforced, Bern you should show up to the pit at 1:30 like it says on the sheet. we all know that racing is a dangerous sport and the rules need to be inforced, there is a right way and a wrong way to do things!!! if you had 20 Super Stock you would not have them all out in one race, so why with the fours??? If you are talking about everyone getting a five point harness, why dont you raise up the prize money so we could afford a harness. In may when we had the meeting at Rumours you agreed street Stock $100, now you tell me we have to hagve ten cars to get the prize of $100. You also told me that thunder would get $75 so what you did there was not have a Thunder race so that means you wouldnt have to pay out a purse for the Thunder. SO THAT IS MY OPINION AND I AM STICKING TO IT!!!!!!!

| It don't matter if there was one car or 20 cars on the track, it was nobody's fault, it was driver error that his helment was not done up or his seat belt was not in tact. All drivers on that track, know if there car is safe enough to drive, ruts got nothing to do with it, if you are not protecting yourself, you are asking for trouble. I hope and pray that Jimmy will come out of this ok are prayers and thoughts are with you.

| It was said that when 20 cars in mini stock they would get $100.00 to win. It was also said thet when street gets 10 cars they would get $100.00 to win. Street can't get 10 cars because the Mad Dog blocks, smashes em up and runs em off the track.

| It is funny that mad dog can critisize everyone but he is the one that needs to abide by the rules. He doesnt care if blood or not if he wabnts to get first place he would spin his own mother out to get the win and the $100. Money is everything to that man it seems like!!

| he never meant to spin me out i showered him with mud and he couldn't see me. who cares about the $ 100 we got money and more cars where only doin this for fun. if my car gets beat up i'll buy another one. and Mad Dog helps me get them ready just like i helps him. lots of old cars around. you people worry about yourselves and we'll do the same.

| my cars are safe my son races a car for me and he has a 5-point harness to he choses to use it and if he don't all the seat belts work in my cars, have working fire extinguishers, and if you don't believe me you can ask the sefety inspector he has already checked my cars. as for angie she has her own car and i let her use mine because i'm more concerned for her safety then mine because i don;t want to see her getting hurt and she likes racing to. i don't expect bern to do anything for me all i'm saying is if he expects every one to have these things he should raise the purse. if he had of made to 4-cylinder classes and was paying out to purses like it was suppose to be jimmy wouldn't of got hurt. but i guess he don't want to pay out to purses. and for the rest of you ignorant people my cars are completly safe that my kids race and i wouldn't let them out there if they weren't. what kinda person do you think i am sending my kids out in cars that i think they would get hurt in you people think you no me you don't. so keep your comments to yourself

who race @ Avondale are only concerned about thereselves. not a good trait but i guess its everone for themselves. If you see someone who doing something unsafe the large concenses seem to want to look the other way. These carefree attitudes is all you can expect from kids who haven matured yet.

| Bern, what happened to the $ 2700 that you got for those sponsors that we got stickers from? you wants us to put them on our cars arn't you suppose to pay some of that money out to us? I think you should bring it up to the pit meeting sunday instead of leaving all of us in the clouds. Alot of people knows that you got the $ 2700 and it was duppose to go to the racers.
