| Are the fans and drivers at Avondale as passionate about racing at the track as they are online? If they are, it sounds like a fun place! I will have to check it out sometime. It's too bad I live so far away.

| Bet you wish you were a newfie,,,we drive to ontario in a few days no big deal. We've been keeping that place going for years. Jump in Da Car and head east we'll show you some real racing.

| I really wish I could; it's not that easy. Besides, I wouldn't want to miss the races here; some big ones coming up. As far as real racing goes, it's pretty good here, what with the DIRT modifieds that travel in excess of 100 mph. I'm not being disrespectville, but when I can watch 40,000 dollar race cars fly around tracks 2-3 times a week, some of these races featuring professional drivers, why would I want to travel hundreds of miles to watch 4 cylinders and street stocks? Those types of cars are the support classes up here. Don't get me wrong, I really want to go to Avondale speedway sometime, as it looks like a really cool place featuring good, exciting racing. Maybe it is for you, but it's not that easy for me just to jump in a car and go. I might try to make it down in the fall when the tracks up here close down for the year.

| Oh, and as far as wishing I was a Newfie, I don't have anything against anybody from anywhere, but I'm proud to be from where I'm from; Ontario.

| I've seen 500,000 dollar cars fly around at 180 miles an hour and it is still boring compared to some of the races at avondale. We do have V8 modifieds too! we do got motocross in da infield too.

| I,ve seen some of those 500,000 dollar race cars, too; they are boring! That might be because they race on pavement, and you know what they say; dirt is for racing, pavement is for getting there. I don't care how fast they go; give me dirt racing any day. I don't doubt that the racing at Avondale is excellent, and I've said so many times. I guess it all depends on what you're used to watching. To me' there is nothing like watching 20-30 DIRT modifieds battle it out for 30, 50, or even 100 laps. I also like watching sportsman and pro stocks and even street stocks and 4 cylinders. As long as it goes fast, turns left, and races on dirt, I'll watch it. The only type of pavement racing I watch and follow is Nextell Cup.
