| All 4 teams poured on the offense last night . Ronnies Rebels took an early lead and held on by the skin of their teeth to defeat the Silver Bullets 8-7. Toodles was rumoured to have given the boys a rough workout during the week after the opening night off. Last year's G.M. of the year is still running the show from behind the scenes. Rumour has it that he might even strap on the blades for the playoffs.
The Green Machine downed the bleached whites 7-5 despite being heavily outshot. The return of Lukey to the Green Machine was the main reason for the win.He put on a clinic and proved that he still has the desire to win when he puts on that green jersey. In a post game interview he said that it was special to skate with the Machine again and missed all the gang dearly. The interview was cut short when DTK appeared on the scene and reminded Lukey to give up his jersey before leaving for the tar sands. Poor Lukey filled up and made us promise to tell Frape how lucky he is and how proud he should be to don the Green suit.
Craig and the kid from Southlands both sniped a couple on their brother and uncle. DTK was his usual self despite taking time to toss his cookies between shifts . For the bleached ones,Rod w. sniped a couple but Lukey took a lot away from him. I also see that Hot Rod Sully has bought some real estate in the sin bin again this year. The more things change the more they stay the same.

| Well By's it was great being able to play in the CEL again even if it was for only two games....but the second game made it all worthwhile......playing wit the green machine again made this trip home perfect....I must head back to the oil sands now....andcheck the website as often as i can andI will see all of you again on the 19th of december.
