| The bleached whites ended their 1st round still searching for win #1. They were down early and couldn't recover. The presence of Big Vince in front of the net made it difficult for the puck stopper to do his job while Andy K. and rookie Sheldon K. carried the play.
On the other side of the coin, the Green Machine ended the first round undefeated. The silver bullets led for most of the game by as much as 4 goals but an outbreak by the Machine in the 3rd tied it all up for the shootout.
It all came down to the two Jasons. The Frape stole the show in the cage and set it up for the red Jason to put the final nail in the coffin of the new franchise. As he skated back to the bench he passed a smirk to his two siblings and told them that they had a lot to learn from big brother. Both brothers looked dumbfounded as he pumped the arm in jubilation. I guess Jason will have bragging rights for Pub Night and around the Sunday dinner table.
Big Phil tried using his size to intimidate the referees but to no avail. Like I said last night Phil, DTK got rid of all the trash from last season. Yourself, Larry, Beans,and Capelin got sent off to start the new franchise and things seem pretty good for a 1st year team but you gotta learn that veterans like the Green Machine never give up until the final whistle.

| Kudos to the Peas on their victory. DTK seemed to have the refs in his back pocket for most of the game, but I digress.
Like a great poet once said, "One man's garbage is another man's treasure" And boy oh boy did Mr. Coors ever find his GOLD! Us "Trash" have given new life and hope for the once Mighty Royals, while some pieces of "Trash" are still hanging on the to lip of the garbage can, trembling with fear that they might not see the light if they leave the can for which they have hardened and moulded on to.
Someone remind me to bring some Compound W the next time we play the Warted One. Thanks.

| here are my thoughts for week three:
the coors light gang are better off trying to hold on to a bottle of their namesake than the lead.
the green peas took a beer nap in the first two periods, then exploded with some red lightning in the third.
ronnie's rebels look impressive with their speed, but andy k. continues to be liked in the CEL as much as sean avery in the NHL.
i don't know what to say about the bleached whites. the cup champs from two years ago don't even deserve to make the playoffs with their poor play as of now.

| Well said Big Phil. I'm surprised that you guys are up and about today. I sent a gift basket to the HSC because I thought there might have been some silver bullets in there.You know, from the choking incident last night.
Don't bring any compound w, but bring an antidote for the Frape. He stopped about 60 shots last night.

| The Frape might have played well last night, but in our Game Terry J stole the show, faceing Keith and Rod Walsh all night, and coming up big at all times, great game Joycie !!!!

| Touché there Wartsy, but Mick Magough must have been keepin track of the shots for ye. 60 shots is a little bit over the crossbar.
As to the Antidote, keep your stockings up Wartsy, its in the works, its more of an eliqusor shall we say. As Danny would say "Stay tuned".

| Well Alan, as I told a few of the boys Pub Night, Its proven to be somewhat difficult to adjust to the new rules for a slow , physically dependent defenceman, which has led to frustration been taken out on the refs.
I'll get off the back of the refs when everyone else who plays hockey stops. Its the same thing as tellin Ice hockey players they arent allowed to skate!
I see that you got Wartsy chiming in with a few words for ya too Alan, good to see you stick together like Peas in a Pod but just remember, A few drops of 4% Alcohol will dry them out and we'll have some split peas for that puddin for Sunday dinner.

| sorry lads, we won't be posting games on vocm....i think the focus should be on the website....i'm a player in both leagues, and i think it's da best kind that the dshl are phonin' in the games to vocm, but....we shouldn't try to copy anybody else's ideas....we should try to keep both sites different and original.....why would we want 2 websites that were exactly the same....fuck that
