| Hi gatchers, it's the warted one again. Last night clued up the 1st half of the season. Toodles crew put on a defensive clinic and defeated the soaring silver bullets 3 - 2. The league's leading scorer was held pointless again thanks to toght checking and good goaltending.
Toodles crew now moves into a 1st place tie which is where Toodles wants them. No slackers on this team. Toodles runs a tight ship and will not take insubordination[ nice big word ]. He's putting the boys on a diet and exercise program for the Xmas break.
The bleached whites came out for warm-ups last night sporting team sponsored toques.It looked like they wre ready for Slaughters pond olympics. It got them going early with the Tank chipping one in from the blue ice. All was lost though as the green machine found the scoring that was missing and exploded for 9 goals. DTK took over and and scored 4 in a row to put the game out of reach and put the bleached white into the cellar of the CEL.
I'd like to wish all CEL members, alumni, and their families all the best for the holidays. Play safe and have fun. Don't drink and drive.
