| I get such a kick out of all of this! I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but let's get real! The cars that race at Avondale can be race ready for what, a few hundred bucks? How much do you get for winning, a couple hundred bucks? The way drivers and fans and people carry on on here, you'd think that the drivers were driving 50,000 dollar race cars racing for a million bucks! NASCAR is a multi-million dollar sport, with race cars that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and I don't think that they take it as serious as they do at Avondale! Same with Formula 1 and IRL and the Champ Car series! Anybody see the Knoxville Nationals last year when Danny Lasoski and his Dad got into it? Pretty intense stuff, but that kind of stuff is probably a weekly occurance at Avondale!(not necessarily involving father and son, but you get the idea!) Don't get me wrong, I'm all for intensity in racing(or any sport), but I almost hate to think of the drivers at Avondale racing high-dollar race cars for a high-dollar purse! Like I said, I'm not being disrespectful, as I love to watch racing, but let's put things into perspective!

| It got nothing to do with money! It's all about winning! Somebody once said if you don't win your loose.

| There's alot of the problem right there! People are so focused on winning, and to a certain extent, that's good. Some people will do anything to win, and I mean ANYTHING! They don't care whose expense it comes at! However, when somebody else has the same attitude and wins at the other person's expense, well, they whine and cry and say it's not fair! There is very little if any give and take in sports anymore! Not just in racing, but alot of sports! I swear, you can count on one hand the number of players in the NHL who can take a clean, hard bodycheck without whining and/or wanting to fight somebody! I disagree with that statement that says if you don't win, you lose! In racing, there may be a winner of the race, but there are no losers!

| On second thought, on the first post I left here I was kind of out of line! I said that the drivers and fans take it too serious, but I shouldn't talk! I get pretty fired up myself watching sports! While I have never raced competetively, I played for many seasons in a ball hockey league, and at times you'd think I was playing for the Stanley Cup! Heck, I was like that when playing pick-up hockey in a schoolyard where we used to play! We were all like that! And we never made a dime! In fact, players had to pay to play in the league, unless the team had a good sponsor! So, for me to comment about drivers and fans taking the racing too serious at Avondale, that would make me a hypocrite, and that's something I try not to be! As long as it doesn't get out of contrl, intensity is very good in sports!

| To "Spokes person". Thanks for speaking to me in a respectful manner, as there are many on here who probably wish nothing but bad things on me! Not everybody, as there are some real fine folks on here as well! Actually, I think everybody on here are good people, but I think it's just that maybe some see me as some kind of threat or something, you know, me being an "outsider" and all. I think maybe people are starting to realize that I'm no "threat" in any way whatsoever! I think they're starting to realize that I am who I say I am; somebody that likes to joke around and have fun and doesn't always take things serious! Most of my posts are not meant to be serious, but I can also be very insightful, and I know some things about racing and other sports, as well! I also love shrimp! I think I may have mentioned that once or twice before!
