| aaron did get banged around a bit on the track but always seemed to keep his composure out their.my opinion he has as good a chance as any of the super stockers to be track champ.could be his year but i guess we will never know.wont be the same without him.thought he was the most improved driver over the last couple of years.

| oh my , who is saying he isnt coming back at all ? i hope this isnt true aaron is my fav. and has been for the 4 years that i have been going their, i guess he is giving it up cuz everyone is always hitting him around the track so every weekend he has to fix his car agin , althow i think he is the best racer out there and i think he could easly winn the bye and sell cup this year if he raced every sunday because last year he just about had it , so i guess avondalespeedway isnt going to be very good this year cuz he is comming back and i dont think jason groes is going eathier sooo , there will be noo good drivers left to cheer for , :( SO I HOPE THIS ISNT TRUE AND HE AT LEAST COMES BACK PART TIME!!

| thought ross was super stock champ.i consider the buy and sell cup winner the track champ.the others would be division or class champs.

| in a post under drivers # it says all drivers listed from 0 to 99 already signed up for this year that will include aarons 11 is registered for this year.have no fear penni aaron will be there but maybe not every weekend.

| Hi everyone,
Just decided to have a look at the message board to see how today went. Then I came across this thread about Aaron. He's out by the door on trike somewhere now, so I decided to reply for him. Aaron has decided not to race this year...well, not full time anyways. He hasn't worked on his car at all...it's still where he parked it last fall. Everybody is speculating that it's because he got knocked around the track or is sick of the bull...but that's just not true. The truth is that it takes alot of time and money to keep a V8 up and running for every weekend. That's the real reason he's not coming back. Now, you may see us there sometimes this year, but there won't be a new car...he'll be driving the same one as last year...equipped with dents and everything!
Thanks for everything though! When Aaron gets back from his ride on trike, I'll tell him you were all asking about him.
It's weird for me too....I woke up early this morning expecting to go to the track....oh well!

| Jennifer: Thanks for the clarification. Speculations and rumours do fly when people do not really know why someone like Aaron does not return to the track after many successful years. We will miss seeing him (and you in the pits - who will BBQ now I wonder???), but we do look forward to the Sundays he does decide to race.

| the green machine will be missed not only for your bbq skills but also his skills on the track by all his fans which were quite a few from what i could see from the stands.
