This could be a very interesting year. "Guardian Angel" seems to think everything is going to be great, but I'm not so sure. If super stocks are the headline division and there aren't even a half dozen of them, regardless of how many cars there are in the other divisions, it can't be good. It seems to me that there are no set rules in place, and even if there are rules, they seem to change depending on the driver and/or situation. I'm just gonna sit back and see how everything plays out. Who knows, the super stock count might get into double digits and the track might even survive the year.

Get a Grip ...The Headline division is the Mini Stock they are the ones puting on the show and bringing in the fans. Now if some of the other belly aching and bitching drivers would stop complaining and fix their cars they may get enough to have a race.
Get a Mini Stock and join the Real Racers!

If you think mini stocks are the headline you need your head examined. A bunch of $50 dollar cars beating around a track, smarten up, they are fillers nothing more.

When a track has street stocks and/or super stocks and the minis are the main attraction, that track is in trouble. 4 cylinders can be very entertaining, but they are not meant to be the main division or the main selling point for speedways.

get real.

if it weren't for minis, the track probably wouldn't have even opened and if it did it wouldn't have lasted long. many of the super stock and street stock guys started out in minis you know.

That's the key words right there. "Started out". How many fans are going to pay to watch the races when the main class is a bunch of drivers "starting out" racing oversized fish bowls?

what i am saying is that mini and super stock are equally important to the track. the track needs both to be succesful in my opinion. some people prefer to watch the minis also believe it or not.

I don't feel they are equally as important. Mini stocks are okay for a support division, but let's face it. If the track is getting 20-30 minis weekly but only a handful of supers, that track is gonna be in trouble, simple as that. If the situation is the other way around, the majority of fans are gonna be overjoyed that they're getting 20-30 super stocks, and are not really gonna care that there are only a handfull of the lowest level of the divisions on hand.

the situation will never be the other way around no matter how you look at it. i don't think there is a track anywhere with that situation. if you don't feel they are as important imagine if there were no minis there today or last week.

This is what happened at EVS. If the track is to survive the mini and street stock drivers are going to have to step up and build super stocks. There should be a limit as to how long you can race in the "ENTRY LEVEL" classes.

PS Thought Todd Moss was coming out to avondale

so what you are saying is that if u race a mini for a few years , then you are no longer aloud to do it and you HAVE to race a super?? get fucking real buddy. alot of the mini drivers love racing them and dont care at all about the supers.. its up to the driver that they want to race. do u even know how much it costs to build a super stock ??? some people are sooo stupid......

seems to me the street stock division is where the action is.some of those guys are little crazy but that is what makes it fun to watch.any word on more drivers showing in the street stock class.have not seen the 14 21 25 46 87 out yet this year are any of these drivers coming back.
