| Why was the score 14-2? Did something go wrong in this game or did Coldwell just want to beat them to the ground!?!?

| In regards to the game in question, I think it was things (score) getting out of control and a bit of the guys loosing them selves in the game. That score will happen again. My regards to the Evolution that they played with great composure.

| Evolution played very well the entire game and even more so in the first half. They were even leading 1-0 for the first 20 mins or so. Our team knew we had a challenge against us that Sunday.
I think the changing point was somewhere near the last part of the 2nd half (i think the score was 5-2 or 6-2) they went HEAVY offense and their defense fell apart. Our offense was touching the ball around, giving extra touches before taking shots on the goal. They just werent getting back on Defense to help their keeper (who played a phenomenal game despite the score).
If memory serves me right, it was 5-1 at half (but felt much closer with how well evolution was playing) and 5-2 for the start of the 2nd half. It really wasnt near the last 10 mins of the game that we scored 7 goals back to back to back.
But, as hobbes mentioned, we wont try to let it happen again. We respect evolution, they had very good ball handler's and players.

| Why does the score matter? What would you perfer, to have a team quit playing 100% which would obviously cause some embarrassment for the opposing team, or have a team continue to play at their max capacity and in return you do the same and finish the game knowing you did your best?
Another thing, if you aren't playing at 100% it increases that chance for injuries and nobody wants that. You can't guarantee it won't happen again. It's not something that we can turn off and on. Me personally, if you expect me to ease up I might as well be taken out of the game because I don't want to risk the injury and it's just the competative nature, you either play hard or you don't.
