| Well it's finally happening. The CEL enforcer,a.k.a. Big Phil, is finally blowing his top. Frustration is building and Atlantic Towing had better send da captain of da parsnips back to da beach to cool things down.The boys were oh so close to their 1st win last night but it wasn't to be and the frustration showed near the end of the game. Maybe Big Phil's weekend getaway will calm him down and with da return of Christopher next wek, things will get back to normal and other CEL players will stop shaking from the tremors of da volcano. It's still early in da season and no need to get too excited yet.
By da way, da BIG MACHINE is still rollin along with another big W last night.

| Maybe the Commissioner should schedule a meeting with the players union to investigate Big Phil's latest eruption because it seems to be the norm lately.

| Excellent idea Reporter. Also, I think that Big Phil should get Bob Buckingham for his defense. He pulls no punches either. What's interesting is that Big Phil seems to have gone into hiding. I'll get nightline to try and contact him tonight to get his thoughts on the whole situation. The commisioner, who Big Phil rides shotgun with, is also tight-lipped which is very unusual. Must be getting their story straightbefore nightline.

| Hello, Mt. Phil here. Contrary to popular belief, I have not gone into hiding but have been busy with exams, assignments, reports, labs, etc. As you know, I have never left the CEL forum for too long.
First off, let me say that the Commish has done a superb job and has got the the story straight, and I thank him for putting the the other half of the story out there for all the other pundits on this site that tell only half truths.
It has been said that I should make an apology, and I will...To my teammates, for the penalty I incurred against a man who will be fighting fires for a living, I only hope he can stand up on his two legs when forced into action rather than crumble like a stack of ashes.
As to the topic of my outburst at the end. First off, it as always was blown out of porportion by fellow CELers who like to see the Big Guy in these Situations in order to get an interesting post on the forum. As any player who had just lost a tight game in which he feels responsible for, I was Angry to say the least. Now, there are those who say its just a game of rec, but do to a competitive nature that seems to be unharnessed, I believe in winning. So with that said,to provoke a guy in this situation, which he did by poking and chuckling, I snapped.
Simple as that.
I challenge other CELers with that competitive edge not to get riled up when faced with this situation.

| I would like to apologize to Phil for what might have seemed to being provoking you but you said something to me while shaking hands that I took as joke and that is why i poked you and gave a little chuckle. Again, I am sorry for the misunderstanding, and hopefully no hard feelings there big fella.

| Whatever the case may be LGP, you will still have your weekend of gatching in clarenville to put hockey on the backburner for a few days.I was in contact with a newly formed group out there and they are willing to sit down and have a chat prior to or after the gatchfest!!

| i will advise everyone to look at the statistics from the megan & michael and atlantic eavestrough game...as you can see there are several penalties evenly distributed over numerous of the parsnip's players...so while everyone is pickin' on the big guy for his outburst, don't forget that there are other dirtbag parsnips to pick on
